Review: I am owed $1815 for rent which Related took out of my account in excess of the amount due in the month I moved out of my apartment (at their request). The move out date was 6/**. So I have now been waiting for 3 months. I have e mailed repeatedly and been told the check is coming but I'm really tired of waiting at this point.

Review: In the month of November I applied for an apartment at the Lyric, which I emailed and called the agent I was dealing with to cancel any and all paperwork/agreements with the agent I was dealing with - Lyric Agent: Jared Litoff.

I never saw any apartments or moved into the Lyric at any time. The Lyric is owned by the Related Companies.

I canceled all paper work within 24 hours, which falls into the legal requirements. Jared indicate by e-mail and phone conversation that everything concerning the Lyric would be canceled and that the Related had not signed off on anything as I was not qualified -my credit score was to low and I was and still are unemployed. Today, months later, my bank account at Bank of America has a withdrawal from my bank account that was not approved by me and is fraudulent. Please contact the Related Group immediately!!!

Review: On August **, 2013 I moved out of my apartment at [redacted]. I, along with my brother, cleaned out our apartment, plastered some small holes from normal wear and tear (e.g., hanging pictures) and moved out our belongings prior to getting our apartment move-out inspection.

We had our move out inspection done and received a copy of it. All areas were noted as "OK" and I was confident that I would be getting my full deposit back. However, when I received my deposit back (around Nov [redacted]), I saw that $65.33 was withheld and I was very taken aback by this as I really didn't think there was more than typical wear-and-tear to warrant any amounts withheld from me. I was told that, "More than the standard cracks and repairs work needed additional painting and attention". However, I would have expected any problematic areas to be pointed out upon move out and noted on the inspection sheet. The invoice that I was provided only noted that ONE coat of paint was required (standard) so what I was told was incorrect there. When I asked for pictures of the non-standard "cracks and repairs" I was told that, "we don’t actually take pictures unless the damage is excessive and needs sever repairs". This statement contradicts what I was told previously about there being heavy damage requiring more "attention".

I contacted the management department at Related Rentals to understand the reasons behind this, asking for evidence of damage, etc. To date, I have not received any satisfactory answers. Even the invoice from the painters I was provided does not provide an itemized breakout that reconciles.Desired Settlement: I would like a check for the remaining $65.33 of my security deposit that was not returned sent to me at:
