Relaxx 25

On May 11, 2013. I went to Relaxx 25 for hair services. According to them, the hair services are first come first serve. I was the 2nd one in line to sign in for hair services however I was not waiting on in this order. I was approximately waited on 4th which disturbed me greatly. I was waiting in line like other patrons but was not waited on in that manner. According to the owner my roller set was going to cost me $25 because I had a sew-in however there was no sign that indicated that because I had weave it would be different than the $10 charge that other patrons paid for their roller set. I brought my own rollers for the roller set but was told that they could NOT roll with the wave rollers on my head. After finally getting serviced and having to only using their rollers, I attempted to notify the owner that I was not satisfied with the result of my hair service and asked for either a refund or a discount for the negative and unsatisfied services. I was told that their were NO refunds or credits, however their was no sign supporting this information. I was highly disappointed on how management treated me and was not willing to work with me.Product_Or_Service: May 11, 2013Desired SettlementI would like a refund of $25 for horrible service and unsatisfactory results of my hair services.Business Response Here at Relaxx 25 we don't offer refunds. We are a first come first serve based salon but all chemical treatments come first with shampooing. The customer signed in 2nd, however we have a high volume for roller sets as well as relaxers since they are both at a discounted price. A customer with relaxer on her hair needed to get rinsed out because it had started to burn which caused this particular customer to get moved back two spots. This is something that happens often and hasn't been a problem because the costumers understand that you can't leave a relaxer in someones hair if it is burning them. Our roller sets are at a discounted price of $10, which is a basic roller set. This customer had a sew- in weave installed in her hair, there isn't a sign indicating this but it is an extra service and the fee of $25 is charged to anyone getting a roller set with a sew-in. She brought her own rollers but they were spiral rollers not the magnetic rollers for a basic roller set. She could have used her own rollers but she did not want to pay the extra fee for that service. We have a lot of customers that like to leave with their rollers in their head so using her rollers wouldn't have been a problem. Whenever a customer is unsatisfied with their service we have no problem fixing or re-doing their hair.If you have any further questions or concerns please feel free to contact us.
