This company "fixed" my dryer in Feb ($278)Now, Nov 2014, it's malfunctioning again in the exact same way Called to have them come out again to figure out what they might've done wrong; the receptionist nonchalantly tells me I'm out of luck b/c they're no longer servicing TampaAccording to other internet resources, this company WILL NOT even try to make the situation right if your appliance breaks again in the same fashion a short time after they "repair" it
I contacted Reliable Appliance Services on Wed(8/17) due to our 21-year-old refrigerator no longer cooling on the fridge sideMy appointment block was Wedfrom 1pm-4pmAt 12:03pm I received a call from the office person asking if the tech could come by earlier than 1pm and of course I said yes!
Mike, the technician, arrived at 12:35pm and got to work right awayHe already suspected that the heater was bad but ran a couple of tests to confirmUnfortunately, he had to order the part which was scheduled to arrive on Thursday at 2pm Mike spent a few minutes blow-drying the ice buildup so I could continue to use the fridge until he came back with the part
On Thursday around 2:30pm, I received a call from the office person wanting to schedule Mike to come back out on Friday between 11am - 2pmOn Friday morning the same person called to see if I was available for Mike to come at 10:30amMike arrived at 10:29am and had the part installed, the ice defrosted, and all of the contents of the freezer/fridge put back by all by 11:15am
I have had to deal with over contractors in the past year, with more to come, and not one of them ever arrived earlyMike was clean, professional, friendly and he took ownership of the problemI always ask a lot of questions and he took the time to explain everything and show me what he was doing it and why
I also found the pricing to be very reasonable and fairI am so glad to have found Reliable Appliance Service and highly recommend their services
Business responded promptly, called prior to appointment to let me know tech was close Tony was knowledgeable, efficient and installed a circuit board in a very reasonable amount of time
Answered my questions, and gave me advice on a surge protector to avoid future problems
Very satisfied with the service and would recommend
I recently had a great experience with this company. I worked with Mike on a significant repair for my built in refrigerator. They were very quick to respond. He talked us through the options and were very knowledgeable. Their proposal was the most competitive. They made the repair a priority as they understood how important it was to get it working quickly and were so flexible at working around my schedule. Follow up was awesome and timely. I will use them again when I am in need of any appliance repair and would highly recommend them!
Paid $130 to have refrigerator repaired. No parts needed tech said he just needed cleaning for good airflow (in motor mechanisms). Lasted 31 days on a 30 day warranty. Very ironic. Called to inquire and I was told "you have to pay full price, maybe it wasn't the original problem". So they put a $130 bandaid on it and thinks this is good business. Rip off company.
