He never told me prior to installing the new parts that he wouldn't be using his standard partsWhen I confronted him about his shady business practices it he told me I was "being too sensitive." While I understand that the costumer’s priority is to get
the problem resolved in order to get back on the roadIt is my obligation to
be clear about warranty policies and product performanceI would like to
clarify that the only reason I was making an emphasis on the origin of the
product was
that as an ** *** parts and service shop, all ** *** parts are covered
for months and/or 24,miles (parts and labor)With the exception of ** ***, there’s is no warranty available on wear and tear items such as brakes,
tires, belts, hoses, etcI make this point, because I was trying to explaining
to the costumer that there was no warranty on the parts or laborIn this case it was after hours and I was unable to obtain
** *** parts, which I personally and professionally believe are of better
quality and performance. In addition,
the costumer asked me“…why he had to change his brakes so often?” and that he
had used the same aftermarket brand I had to put on his car (which was made in
China)In our conversation I gave him two reasons why this could happen: A person driving habits and brake usage, especially
when driving mostly in the city can result in premature wearPoor quality brake pads. The costumer’s brake pads were extremely worn
and had already made contact the rotor/disk At this point it wasn’t a product discussion,
but a safety issue since he told me was driving to N.Ythat eveningIt
is unfortunate to hear that a costumer felt uneasy about our interaction However, I did my job; I was upfront and went
out of my way as I usually do for my costumers

He was the opposite of "upfront." He never told me prior to installing the new parts that he wouldn't be using his standard parts. When I confronted him about his shady business practices it he told me I was "being too sensitive." I am not seeking any compensation, only for others to know how they operate.
