Contacted Reliable Carriers to transport vehicle from South Carolina to Colorado on April 28, 2016. Reliable required pre-payment for service, contrary to information given at the time of the quote. Communication very poor and did not hear from them for approximately three weeks. Scheduled different company to transport vehicle because of time constraints. Without notification, Reliable picked up car and represented to both buyer and seller that vehicle was going to be transported to Colorado. The vehicle, however, was transported from South Carolina to Florida and placed in a warehouse there, preventing the new company from transporting the vehicle. Not only was Reliable unable to transport the vehicle in a timely fashion, they "held the vehicle hostage" to prevent another company from obtaining the work. Representatives for the company were very dishonest and unethical. Not only did Reliable fail to perform as described by the transportation agreement, they created a worse situation by moving the vehicle further away from the intended destination. Buyer was forced to fly to Florida to take possession of vehicle and drive the vehicle to Colorado. Very poor company, would not recommend for vehicle transport!

I hired Reliable to transport my NSX from Virginia to Arizona. Upon arrival I noticed that the car was covered in dirt and dust and was shocked to see the driver getting all over it with an old California Car Duster. By the time I called him off (had to ask twice) the damage had been done. Although Reliable admitted responsibility for the damage, they tried to low ball me with pennies on the dollar for the value of my claim. Went through the small claims process which took some time and now have a default judgement from the court. All that I need now is to find out who Reliable banks with and I can get paid. Unbelievably disrespectful drivers - they parked one of their trucks in front of a residential apartment building and left idling overnight. It was so loud it could be heard from an avenue away.

Review: I had my Ferrari 458 Italia shipped from California to Ohio via Reliable Carriers. In addition to the vehicle, the 4 OEM wheels were sent as were the wheel spacers and lug bolts along with the vehicle in the same trailer. Upon arrival, the spacers and lug bolts were never delivered and all 4 wheels had been so severely damaged that they had to be thrown away. The driver stated that there were no lug bolts and spacers and that the wheels were in that condition when he picked them up so I believed him and sent him on his way.

After speaking with the shippee, I came to find out that the spacers and lug bolts were, in fact, on the trailer and that the wheels were in perfect condition when loaded. I obtained a sworn and notarized affidavit to that affect and contacted Reliable Carriers. Reliable Carriers denied any wrong doing and denied the insurance claim. Reliable then stopped answering/returning my phone calls and voicemails as well as ignoring my e-mails and text messages.

The wheels cost just shy of $18,000 and the spacers and lug bolts are another $1,500+. That's nearly $20,000 that I am out and have been for over 10 months. My next step is a lawsuit; however, I would like to see if, with your assistance, I can finally be made whole for the destruction and 'theft' of my property.

Thank you very much in advance.Desired Settlement: I would like to have Reliable pay me the replacement cost of the parts that were destroyed and not delivered; approximately $20,000. I have waited for almost a year to have this resolved and will no longer tolerate being ignored and blown off intentionally as Reliable believes that if they just ignore me, it will atone for the fact they destroyed and took my property.
