It is true that in April of we put a new compressor on the vehicle in question but unfortunately that is the last true item in the complaint The very next time we heard from the customer was in October of when they brought the vehicle in because the A/C was not blowing cold We diagnosed the vehicle and found that the condenser on the unit was leaking When we notified the customer she let us know very clearly that we were not bright, our parents were not married at our birth and we were all terrible liars We waived the diagnosis fee and at the customers request gave the vehicle back to her unrepaired We have recorded phone calls to prove this if anyone wants to listen to them We then see the customer at the end of February when the vehicle is towed into us and we are told that the compressor we put on in April of is bad In truth, the compressor clutch had frozen because there was no Freon in the system because of the leaky condenser that we had attempted to warn the customer of in October of Regardless, we are very nice people so we replaced the Compressor at our expense, overlooked the pry marks that were damaging the part because why muddy the waters but once again told the customer that the condenser was leaking Now is where it gets a little confusing as the owner of the car is [redacted] , her mother (we think) [redacted] does all the talking and claims on the phone and in writing that she is [redacted] so when Mr [redacted] arrived we didn't know if he is dad or husbandDad/Husband didn't believe us so we put the car on a lift, showed him the leaking condenser because we had put dye in it to trace the leak and explained that we had never replaced the condenser in October because we were told not to He then claimed that the condenser wasn't leaking before so we must have damaged it We reminded him that it was leaking in October He then reminded us that our parents were not married at birth, some of our mothers must have been canines and then, unsolicited mind you suggested a carnal act that we are relatively positive would be physically impossible to pull off.Short version, we covered the bad Compressor even though we shouldn't have but have never replaced the condenser although we have repeatedly informed the customer that it needed replaced We can prove what we say as we record all of our phone calls and document every thing that happens We do not owe the customer any reimbursement for a repair we never madeSincerely, Reliable Chevrolet
