Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Based on the conversation I had with the second technician, Eric, the section of drain pipe the first technician identified as having a crack in it was not that bad and questioned whether it needed repairEric also made mention of the 'belly' but again stated that it was not an issue that needed immediate attention.We did originally call [redacted] to perform the cleaning but found another reputable company that was more responsiveReliable's statement "he had [redacted] out to clean up his basement" is inaccurateReliable's statement "The fact to that is Mr [redacted] did call [redacted] but cancelled that appointment (call sheet is included in the attachments)." is factually accurate but irrelevant based on my previous statementAttached is a copy of the $cleinvoice.For Reliable to state that my complaint is unjust because I "was made aware on 6/15/that there was a problem and that the line needs to be replaced" ignores the fact that there was a second blockage and proves that they know that their first technician did not perform the service we paid for properlyThe roots which caused the second blockage would have had to grow and create the blockage in a matter of a week if the first technician completely cleared the lineWe paid extra to have Reliable run the camera through the length of the line to verify all blockages were cleared, which they did and said it was clearThis obviously was not doneHad it been done, the second blockage would have been discovered, and presumably cleared, and we would not have had the baproblem.I will not consent to remove this complaint from their record unless Reliable takes responsibility for the mistakes made and will pursue legal action if necessary Regards, [redacted] ***

Reliable was out at *** ***'s rental on 6/15/to clean the main lineThe tech that was on site discovered a large root ball in the line and also discovered that the line was in bad shape and needs to be replaced and this was noted on invoice #*** Reliable does offer a year warranty
against roots onlyReliable was out to the rental again on 6/23/because it was backing up againThe tech high pressured water jetted the line and did remove more roots free of charge due to warranty that was providedTech also discovered that not only is the line desperately in need of being replace but also has a belly in the line and this was noted on invoice #***Mr *** did call Reliable to speak to the owner who was out of the office so the call to Mr*** was made on the following day by our supervisor JoshMr*** said he had *** out to clean up his basement which cost him $The fact to that is Mr*** did call *** but cancelled that appointment (call sheet is included in the attachments)This complaint is unjust as Mr*** was made aware on 6/15/that there was a problem and that the line needs to be replaced.Reliable Basement & Drain is in no way responsible for the basement flooding or any cleanup that Mr*** said he paid for and this complaint should be removed from our record. Attached is a copy of the $1500 clean-up invoice.For Reliable to state that my complaint is unjust because I "was made aware on 6/15/17 that there was a problem and that the line needs to be replaced" ignores the fact that there was a second blockage and proves that they know that their first technician did not perform the service we paid for properly. The roots which caused the second blockage would have had to grow and create the blockage in a matter of a week if the first technician completely cleared the line. We paid extra to have Reliable run the camera through the length of the line to verify all blockages were cleared, which they did and said it was clear. This obviously was not done. Had it been done, the second blockage would have been discovered, and presumably cleared, and we would not have had the back-up problem.I will not consent to remove this complaint from their record unless Reliable takes responsibility for the mistakes made and will pursue legal action if necessary.
