Reliable Diesel

I bought a used [redacted]. 7,3 diesel. Brought it to Reliable diesel for diagnosis to fix oil leak. On My first visit I left the truck with them for 3-4 days. They charged me : $ 1,825.00 for the first time. They repaired the following: On their recommendation they informed the oil leak was from the HP Oil pump. They also repaired rear axel leak with new rear seal and fluid. Rear brakes replaced. Electric door actuator. Fuel filters and replaced oil with rotella 15-40.. I told the to go ahead and perform the work. When I picked the truck up on March 13 I happily paid my $1,825 bill. When I drove the truck home the oil leak was back in the same location found on the concrete driveway.. I called them and was told to bring it back. After a few days later I picked it up again and paid another $538 which this included in repairing the other 3 electric doors. and was told the leak is fixed, and was told the the oil was residual from previous work performed.. They also repaired all electric door locks on this crew cab. When I got home again I parked and after a few moments the oil leak is seen at the same location . I called and brought it back. Now this is my third time their . Now after 2 days I called hem and asked what the status was. They could not answer me and told me they would bet back . At the end of the day they told me they traced the leak to the oil pan dip stick . They were going to take another 3 days and 350 dollars more to try to fix the problem. I told them do not . I will pick it up in the morning. I drove to another shop, [redacted] and by the next day in their diagnosis they found another leak, traced the service engine light on and made necessary repairs and upgrades to the computer and replaced an injector NOTE: RELIABLE MISSED THESE> . I gladly paid [redacted] to fix and make all repairs. . It was another 2000 dollars but I also had them do other work which I was happy to pay. I truly believe that Reliable diesel had 3 chances and over 2300 dollars of my money to find the leaks and repair this engine. and just could not perform the work properly. I also believe they charged me for work that was unnecessary. Like the HP Oil Leak. When I brought the truck back to Reliable their notes simply said the leak was just residual from the past work performed. POOR excuse . This shop lacks the expertise to locate and repair oil leaks. I Paid twice for their misdiagnosing and repair.. Plus on my way home from Reliable Diesel all my door locks stopped working. [redacted] also repaired these properly. . I called Reliable Diesel for a partial money returned from my previous bills, and was told by Jeremy that the owner would call me back., It never happened. So that is why I am writing this. This shop lacks expertise in the finer things. Reliable Diesel charged me to misdiagnosis. and repaired something that probably did not need repaired. . [redacted] did all their repair work in 24 hr and done properly. Mark and Daryl are awesome.
