No one at Reliable Recovery Services Inctold the debtor it was to get the truck back and for the tow (that might be the charges that he had to pay to his finance company) The $fee at Reliable Recovery Services Incwas for inventory and storage of the personal property, which we can charge per the Illinois Collateral Recovery Act That fee was not because we had to put the personal belongings in the truck or for any other alleged reasonsAt the time of debtor redeeming his vehicle on 3/8/until this date today 3/17/17, never did he mention any type of damage to his backup camera

The last conversation we had with the debtor was that he would check at home to see if they the sweaters were possibly there and he has not contacted us back sinceWe can only assume that he found the items in question

This customer did NOT speak with any personnel at Reliable Recovery Services regarding a tow feeHe would have been speaking with a representative from his bankOnce he satisfied what he owed to the bank, the only thing we would have spoken with him about was what he would pay to us directlyWe only collected $from this customerNo other fees were collectedAny other fees would have been discussed with and collected by his bank-not us

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: The Handle Was In Proper Working In Order When I Saw My Car The NIGHT Before It Was takenThe company lied stating I said I broke itThis is a case of my word against theirsI consider this matter close and since my constitutional right of free speech has been exercised I do consider it over as I have to repair the damages incurred by an inept irresponsible companyIf I could give them no stars I wouldI wouldn't trust them to tow anything because of the lack of care they show Sincerely, [redacted]

The vehicle sticker was not displayed properlyStickers are to be placed on the drivers side rear windshield and NOT on a side rear door window which is where Mr [redacted] placed his stickerUnfortunately he did not follow rules, placing the sticker in an awkward (not clearly visible) spot and and was subject to towThe townhome association representative contacted us and asked that we bring the vehicle back this time as a courtesy since the vehicle owner misunderstood the rules/directionsThe vehicle was immediately brought back as soon as we were contacted and Mr [redacted] was not charged any fees, again as a one time courtesyHis vehicle was back in his possession by 7:am which would allow ample time to get to work in most cases

Ms [redacted] may have contacted her financial institution initially but we first heard from her on 7/11/We have been in contact with her and spoken several times sinceShe even stated that she was out of town when we could not get a hold of herWhen we did finally speak, she said she would send us picturesWe reviewed the pictures and called her back the next day but had to leave a messageShe called back 8/at which time we advised that we are ordering the part and will call her when it arrives to have it installedThis matter has been address and is being remedied.Revdex.com [redacted] ***Reliable Recovery [redacted] Dear [redacted] This message is in regard to a complaint submitted to the Revdex.com about your business on 8/18/by [redacted] This complaint was assigned ID [redacted] The consumer has sent Revdex.com a message regarding this complaint, and we are passing it on to you The contents of this message are below or attached Please respond to this message within calendar daysAll responses will be copied to the complainant Please understand that the consumer’s complaint and your response may be publicly posted on the Revdex.com Web site (Revdex.com reserves the right to not post in accordance with Revdex.com policy)Please do not include any information that personally identifies your customerBy submitting your response, you are representing that it is a truthful account of your experience with this consumerThe Revdex.com may edit the complaint or your response to protect privacy rights and to remove inappropriate language Regards, Your Revdex.com Customer Relations Advocate Revdex.com Serving Chicago and Northern Illinois P: 312-245- E: [email protected] MESSAGE:Hi, The company has not follow through on their responsibilityTheir statement alleged a lapse in communication is completely untrueI mentioned the damages prior to pickup, on the day of pickup with notations on the paperwork, and after the pickup to management just to followup on my requestWhen I was asked for pictures they were provided on 7/Why would it take a month to finally order parts on 8/Why haven't I received the part and it's 9/9.This is completely unacceptableI have not been out of town and am not interested in ongoing excuses to avoid responsibilityI have sent an email on 9/for an updateWe're two months into this predicamentLet's see how long it takes them to finally repair my carMaybe a lawyer can get the matter resolved. Thanks [redacted] Sent from my [redacted] Sedge

The [redacted] Rogue was repossessed on 11/30/and not on 12/1/as the customer statedThe release from the finance company came over on 12/5/which was a Saturday and we are closed on weekendsShe picked up her vehicle on Monday, 12/7/15, the 1st business day after the release cameShe was given a copy of the signed release paperwork that day which also serves as the receipt as the fees are clearly stated on thereThe customer never mentioned at the time nor did she call us back after the fact regarding any issues with her license plate holder or the missing aux cordWe cannot address something that has not been brought to our attention in the first placeIn addition, we do not know how a [redacted] deal works since we have no experience in that areaWe do however collect the fees and have the customers sign the paperwork outside and at the location of the vehicle as the customer is signing for the return of their carWe have always done this for the past yearsUnfortunately we have come to find out through experience that when we let people inside of the building they can become very disruptive to the people in the office while they are trying to do their jobs

To begin with, this customer's name is not on the loan at all for the vehicle she is referring toThis vehicle is in her father's name-she is not truly the "customer"The vehicle was repossessed and the customer (her father) did come to redeem his vehicle and all of the property that was inside of it at the time it was repossessedWe would never have made an appointment with Ms [redacted] since she is not on the loan, so that statement is also incorrectWe do make appointments and the appointments are never a random time frame such as she is statingThere is a specific time that is given to hold that particular customer's place in lineAlso, office hours are completely different than redemption hoursMs [redacted] never came to redeem the vehicle, the customer who's name is on the car didWhat actually happened was the customer came to our location, he inspected his vehicle and signed to the condition of itHe also received all of the property that was in the car and signed that he had gotten it all backThe property included clothing, a GPS, $and some small change, shoes, and papersHe never stated that anything was missingWhen Ms [redacted] did contact us a good days later (at which time she spoke with different people at our location and admitted to them that she did not come to redeem the vehicle herself) and inquired about missing items, we gave her the courtesy of double checking to make sure nothing was left behind, and nothing wasThere were never any work tools (which she never even mentioned to us about tools missing until this complaint letter) or a Cannon Digital camera in the vehicleMs [redacted] has contradicted herself several timesThe finance companies we work for have zero tolerance and would not continue to do business with us if we take other people's property all the time as she is claiming

Again, the customer was unavailable when we called her several timesThe situation has been addressed and is being taken care ofWe understand the impatience and frustration, but again her vehicle is being sevicedShe is scheduled to bring her vehicle in today 9/21/for the repairThank you

Here is a copy of the items the owner of the vehicle signed for at time of redemption: "Clothing, GPS, $and change, shoes, papers"He signed off that he received all of the property that was in the vehicle, examined it, and that nothing was missingAlso a hold harmless statement was signed holding Reliable Recovery Services and his financial institution harmless from any further actionsHere is a copy of that verbage: "In sole consideration of the delivery to me of the above described vehicle and personal property, I agree that I have carefully examined the above described vehicle and made sure that there is no damage, other than any pre-existing damage marked and accounted for on the vehicle condition report. I further agree that I have examined all personal belongings that were left in the above vehicle and that everything is accounted for and has no damageBy signing this Release, I fully understand the above statements and do agree to Release and Hold Harmless Reliable Recovery Services Incand Chase Auto Finance and or its Agents from all claims, demands and or actions, which I or my Representatives do have or may have against Reliable Recovery Services Inc., Chase Auto Finance and/or its Agents or Employees, prior to this date."We have the original signed confidential documents and the Bank has a copy as well

I am rejecting this response because:they are not being truthful. After they told me thst I owed 400 00 for towing.I asked is that it.is that all of the charges they told me yes.once I did that is when upon the time they told me about the 60.00.this is not the way anyone should be treated.and I didn't realize the backup camera was broken until I backed up in my driveway.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

This consumer’s vehicle was repossessed on 1/4/17. The next day on 1/5/17, he came to pick up his vehicle and mentioned the broken door handle (he did not mention anything about the power seat button being broken). The yard attendant looked at the condition report and at the pictures and stated yes,...

it was already like that when we picked it up. Then the consumer admitted that it was broken before but he was able to finagle it and somehow get into the car from the driver’s side. We explained that we would speak with the driver who picked up the vehicle for a statement. The driver stated that the handle was broken off when he picked up the unit and it was inside the car laying on the floor. We called back the consumer several times to only get voicemail. After several days of back and forth voicemails (consumer contacted us and left voicemail after hours demanding calls back-but we could never get a hold of him during business hours), the consumer finally spoke with the manager and after we explained that the damage he is claiming to his vehicle was definitely pre-existing and something we did not do, he called the manager obscene names, swore several times and then hung up the phone. Complaint has been closed and marked as pre-existing damage.

Good afternoon,The person making this complaint is not a customer of ours, and she did not name her grandson so we cannot speak to exactly what may have happened in this situation. We can however state that we do not increase fees by $200.00 randomly or we would be out of business. We do give...

appointments for people to get their cars back once the proper paperwork has been supplied by the lien holder (or again-we would be out of business). We also do not take cars to Waukegan, so that statement is completely false. Personal property appointments are given when the customers call and state they would like to get their belongings, so that is not an issue.Thank you

No one at Reliable Recovery Services Inc. told the debtor it was 960.00 to get the truck back and 400 for the tow (that might be the charges that he had to pay to his finance company).  The $60.00 fee at Reliable Recovery Services Inc. was for inventory and storage of the personal property,...

which we can charge per the Illinois Collateral Recovery Act.  That fee was not  because we had to put the personal belongings in the truck or for any other alleged reasons. At the time of debtor redeeming his vehicle on 3/8/17 until this date today 3/17/17, never did he mention any type of damage to his backup camera.

The last conversation we had with the debtor was that he would check at home to see if they the sweaters were possibly there and he has not contacted us back since. We can only assume that he found the items in question.

The 2012 [redacted] Rogue was repossessed on 11/30/15 and not on 12/1/15 as the customer stated. The release from the finance company came over on 12/5/15 which was a Saturday and we are closed on weekends. She picked up her vehicle on Monday, 12/7/15, the 1st business day after the release came. She...

was given a copy of the signed release paperwork that day which also serves as the receipt as the fees are clearly stated on there. The customer never mentioned at the time nor did she call us back after the fact regarding any issues with her license plate holder or the missing aux cord. We cannot address something that has not been brought to our attention in the first place. In addition, we do not know how a [redacted] deal works since we have no experience in that area. We do however collect the fees and have the customers sign the paperwork outside and at the location of the vehicle as the customer is signing for the return of their car. We have always done this for the past 20 years. Unfortunately we have come to find out through experience that when we let people inside of the building they can become very disruptive to the people in the office while they are trying to do their jobs.

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 8, 2015/10/02) */
This customer WAS notified by certified mail on X-XX-XX about the location and process for retrieving his personal property.Which is required of us .THis customer called our office on at least one occasion thAT was recorded cursing and screaming...

at our office staff and would not allow them to explain the process The fees accur daily and we have no control of how long the customer waits to redeem them .

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: that response is a bold faced lie. [redacted] received several messages from me and called me back once I had filed the complaint against the company and majically my belongings were found and returned to me. I firmly believe that if I...

had not filed the complaint I would have never received my belongings.
Sincerely,
[redacted]

This customer did NOT speak with any personnel at Reliable Recovery Services regarding a tow fee. He would have been speaking with a representative from his bank. Once he satisfied what he owed to the bank, the only thing we would have spoken with him about was what he would pay to us directly. We only collected $60.00 from this customer. No other fees were collected. Any other fees would have been discussed with and collected by his bank-not us.
