I am rejecting this response because: Our update would be as follows: The day after leaving our negative review we were contacted by Reliable Roofing, and the owner and his manager came out within days to look at the problem area on the roof They told us they would be out within the week to fix the areas that were damaged, as well as the area that was installed sloppily We asked them to just please stay in touch with us if they were unable, due to weather or prior commitments, to be out at the time they proposed That was weeks ago No one has been out and we have received no phone calls to reschedule, explain or even just touch base So, at this point, we are not withdrawing our complaint

Hello to whom it may concern,First of all my name is not [redacted]... My name is Mr. [redacted], and this statement is false. To begin with...  I did not have an agreement / contract with my customer wife (Mrs. [redacted]), I had an agreement / contract with with Mr....

[redacted]. In this contract it only states Mr. [redacted] name on it not Mrs. [redacted] name... Also it states that I will back fill there inground swimming pool with 90 yards of dirt that was a rough estimate given by me, in which I told Mr. [redacted] this is a rough estimate of yards of dirt and any extra yards of dirt will cost more. And he stated "Ök, no problem lets just get it done asap!" So I drew up the contract for $3,500.00 and requested $2,000.00 upfront to start project. I order 90 yards of dirt that was delivered and was properly placed into swimming pool and when we got done with all 90 yards of dirt, Mr. [redacted] and I notice it was not enough dirt to back fill the swimming pool, so I notified Mr. [redacted] right away that we will need to order 75 yards of dirt to complete the project and that he will need to cover the cost of the materials as it states in the contract. I also notified Mr. [redacted] that I would not charge him for my time and rental of the machine needed to complete the project, for being there an extra day. So he stated "Go ahead and order the dirt so that the pool will be fully covered. I'll speak with my wife and let her know also.So first thing in the morning, I call Mr. [redacted] to confirm again on the 75 yards of dirt and he stated "Yes, order the dirt to complete the project". So I ordered the 75 yards of dirt to complete the project. So at the end of the project there was left over dirt and which at that time Mr. [redacted] asked me to help spread the remainder dirt around the property so without charge I helped spread the dirt around the property. Once I had finished the project Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] were very happy and pleased with the project and asked me "what was the total balance", I told him "it was the remainder balance of $1,500.00, plus $1,700.00 a total of $3,200.00. "but please give me a sec to load the machine and to write out the invoice for you". He stated "ok no problem, I'll write out the check mean while". Once I was ready to collect, Mrs. [redacted] came out to talk to me about the extra charges and I explained myself very clearly that the extra charges was for the extra dirt needed to complete the project, in which I explained myself with Mr. [redacted] last night. And Mr. [redacted] also confirmed to her, that I did  explained to him last night and called this morning to confirmed about the dirt again. So Mrs. [redacted] got upset and told me that she was not going to pay me anything but just the remainder balance of $1,500.00 and little extra for spreading the dirt around the property if I liked but that she was going to pay me any more cause she did not agree to paying me for the extra dirt. So I apologized to Mrs. [redacted] for any misunderstanding and explained to her that this was an agreement that I had with your husband and asked if she was not satisfied and she replied "I am very happy with the completion of the project and my services, at that moment Mr. [redacted] agreed and told his wife to pay me in full. Mrs. [redacted] got very upset and told me that she would report me and give me a bad reviews and that she was not going to pay me nothing at all and to get off her property. At that moment I explained to Mr. & Mrs. [redacted] that I would have to put a Lean on their house if they did not pay me. And of course she got more upset and started telling me more stuff that was not necessary. At the end of our conversation Mr. [redacted] told his wife again to pay me and she said ok but that she would only pay me $3,000.00 and not the $3,200.00 that is owed, so of course I just took what I could and I walk away. So I don't understand in why she would still put a bad review on my business if she did not pay me in full, and she was very happy with the completion of the project. As a contractor I have ran into this situation more than once before and all I can say is that there are customers out there that will try to not pay after the job is complete cause they know they can get away with it... Thank you for your time. -**
