We are very sorry to hear about the poor service that our customer experienced at our Carnegie Avenue location last month. While we are not always able to remove all of the spots from clothing, we should always do our best to make sure that every customer has a pleasant experience at D.O. Summers Cleaners. The manager of the store should have followed up with the customer and, at the very least, offered to re-clean the garment to remove the spots. I have personally spoken with the manager of the store to make sure that this doesn't happen again.
We will be happy to refund the total of $17.00 to the customer. We can either reverse the charges on their credit card (they would have to provide the credit card number and expiration date), or we can issue a check from our main office and send it to the address that they provided when they contacted the Revdex.com. Please let us know how to proceed with the refund.
I have also put a $25.00 credit on their D.O. Summers account to be used on a future dry cleaning order. This credit can be used at any of our 9 northeast Ohio locations, and it does not expire.
Please let the customer know how sorry we are, and that we hope they can continue to be our customer in the future.
