Reliant Communications called from a call centre in India indicating they work for [redacted] and had all our store numbers and our ghost lines. The first time they called I figured it was BS and told them I was with [redacted]. They called back a few hours later explaining they were not a telemarketer and that they were simply indicating that they were only calling on behalf of [redacted] to explain that they were lowering the rate. Yes I thought it was weird but I was ensured that I was not signing up for anything new and they were simply reducing the rate. Of course today I got an email thanking me for signing up for a new service at $12 per month for six months. This is a scam and should be banned from operating in Canada.
