As stated in the original complaint, Relocation R Us came to our house as scheduled on the day of our move Before they would begin our move, the stated our move was underestimated and demanded an additional $to cover the cost of the move Relocation R Us provides estimates over the phone and not an in-person estimate Not having time to shop for another carrier, I was forced to pay the additional fee To complicate matters, Relocation R Us did not bring a truck large enough for our move Once it was full, they did not offer to bring another truck The crew leftAt that time I had to rent a U-Haul truck, costing $ My moving costs became $more that budgeted Relocation R Us did call me and offer a settlement of $ I countered their offer and asked them to reimburse me for the cost of the U-Haul truck I had to rent to move my family out of state They have not called me back I would like to resolve this issue with Relocation R Us I'm willing to compromise from the original $I requested and will accept $to cover the cost of the U-Haul However, I feel $is not sufficient restitution for the nearly $I spent out of pocket for their mismanagement of the situation

We are sorry to hear that Ms [redacted] feels as if we lied to her, there seems to have been a misunderstandingThe terms in the estimate signed by Lisa prior to the move state the following under “Payment Terms”: Relocation "R" Us breaks your payment up into three payments:Deposit: A 25% deposit is required to reserve your moveDeposit payments must be paid via Visa, MasterCard, and DiscoverAll debit cards are accepted as wellPipayment: The pipayment is 50% of the total billThat balance is due only in Cash, Money Order, Personal Check or Certified CheckDelivery Payment: The final payment is made in CASH or POSTAL MONEY ORDER ONLYHowever, we did make an exception and allowed the customer to pay via credit card upon pick upIf the customer wanted to make the full payment on the credit card at the time of pick up, we would have also allowed thatThe customer made a partial payment at pick up and, unfortunately, we never accept credit cards at the time of deliveryWe only accept cash or Postal Money OrdersAs far as any damaged items, we do apologize regarding that and we have a claims process that we encourage Lisa to move forward withOur claims department can be reached at 877-274-or at csipros.orgThey will be happy to walk Lisa through the process and, per the contract, they will evaluate the claim and decide the reimbursement amount for any damages or lost itemsThe customer has up to months to file a claimIf Ms [redacted] has any further questions or needs assistance contacting the claims department we encourage her to contact us at 800-619-with any questions and/or concernsThank you

When the drivers showed up to deliver my stuff, they asked for their money orders up front They were in a small delivery truckThen I showed them where to deliver my stuff and the driver told me that he needed even more money because of the distance to the elevators Mind you, they said they were at my apartment a few days before and never mentioned needing more money to walk to the apartment I refused to be ripped off by them again and told him I wasn't giving them any more money He and two others started to bring my stuff in and was basically throwing my stuff around and refused to put the furniture together and left My furniture is a chipped up If you read the other reviews, this company prides itself on ripping people off They give you a low written estimate and only after they get it on the truck do they contact you and jack up the prices by hundreds of dollars It's all a scam

Very professionalArrived promptly and all our furnature was carefully packed for usThey were extremely accommodating for any extra requirements of our move (especially Anthony)

This is the worst moving company I have ever seen, and I have seen a lot The estimate was way off, the movers will drag, roll, whatever it takes to get your stuff loaded and unloaded They did not reassemble anything and my furniture was delivered in many broken pieces They told me to just "glue it" or "it was broke before we unloaded" They had the nerve to ask for a tip afterwards and actually stayed in the parking lot for awhile trying to get one, which made my wife uneasy as I was at work and she had to handle the delivery Stay away from this company, they only want your money and are totally unprofessional

We have been in contact with the customer directly and we believe that we have been able to come to a mutual agreement and resolution for the inconveniences

Neves moved before so I was nervous until the guys arrived and even came slightly earlier and completed my loading in only two hoursKeep me aware of my stuff crossing states and delivered on time and was the same guys the entire move! Great job Ab and crew they earned my tip

Relocation R Us is best company to moveThey did everything in tommy way and did no damage
The movers were very professionalThey were also the most reasonable as far As cost is concerned

We apologize for the inconvenience that Ms*** experienced at the time of deliveryOur own foreman and our crew were the movers at the time of pick up, however, we have Interline Agreements with other carriers and work
with a network
Please see the following definition of Interline Agreement for a better understanding:

When it comes to moving, exploring alternative options and considering a moving company can be a tall order given the costs involved and complications that might ensue Initially, I was planning on moving myself because of the above factors However, given the fact that I was moving a very long distance I thought choosing a good moving a good moving might ease the stress of the process a bit; unfortunately, this wasn't quite the case Relocation R Us is a fairly "user friendly" service-after speaking with a management rep and explaining those items you wish to move in description and quantity, you are given an estimate which should fairly accurately reflect the costs you will increw during the move After this, you are then given a window when to expect the movers to arrive Finally, after your items are loaded, your are given a second window which states when you should expect arrival of your items to their destination On paper, this sounds like a good process to use and certainly does take the ease of packing/lifting off of the mover However, given my experience, there were a few issues that I would like to shed light on that reflect the rating I have provided First and foremost-costs Relocation R Us claims to be a competitively priced moving business and states that their estimate should be relatively accurate For me, this was not the case The initial estimate I was given was approximately 50% less than the actual cost of the move, costing me several thousands of dollars more There seemed to be a huge discrepancy between the system used for the estimate and the system used by the movers to calculate price and in the end their was little explanation provided Secondly, there was a lack of communication from the company while I was awaiting my move Once the movers packed everything, they stated that within business day I would receive contact from management giving a small window of when to expect arrival of my belongings Unfortunately, communication had to be initiated by myself and within the first few business days after the movers left there was no accurate window provided but rather a "wait and see mentality." This is basically where management said we will have a better idea tomorrow and will contact you then-only there was no phone call On a positive note, care was taken for my belongings during the move which is an important factor to consider On the contrary, this factor is not a redeeming one in terms of my overall satisfaction of the service provided and overall satisfaction with my experience My advice? Unless you are using movers that you know personally, endure the short-lived pain renting a truck and moving yourself that will in the end keep a lot of extra cash in your wallet and give you the peace of mind that you know where your goods are at all times and when they will arrive

I wanted to thank the movers from Relocation R UsThey were a few hours late but when they arrived they were polite business like and I liked the way they wrapped my furnitureI have moved before and these guys were fast efficient and took great lengths
to make sure my things were protectedI added a few things and they charged me but it was fairI was afraid to put my stuff in storage but when they arrived they were in good condition except for one box - it had a broken glass - I was provided a claim department to file a claim with but it was so minor that I didn't botherI had a little time getting ahold of the driver but the home office was good to get me information on my deliveryYou always worry about getting your goods but I was assured of a date and my goods came only day lateI would recommend Relocation R Us to anyone movingAll in all I had a good experience

we chose relocation r us after considering a few different optionsat first we had allied and united come in and give us an in homethe price they gave us was pretty outrageous so we decided to shop aroundafter filling out an online quote and getting phone calls we decided to go with relocation r usthe gentleman we spoke with, sammy, was very thorough and knowledgable about the industrythey walked us through the estimation process and even did an apples to apples comparison with our united and allied quotethe price was better and the service was exactly the samei was impressed with the guys on the day of the pick up; they did a fantastic jobanthony was a real nice guy and his crew was incredibly friendlythey got everything done in about hours which was impressiveit was a bedroom house and it was FULLi would definitely use relocation r us againthanks again sammy!

I scheduled moving services with Relocation R Us before doing the due diligence of reading customer reviews. After reading reviews available across different platforms online (including Revdex.com, [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], [redacted] etc ), I decided I wasn't comfortable going through with the transaction based on the overwhelmingly negative experiences of past customers. I contacted the representative - Chris [redacted] - who I was working with to request cancellation and was bombarded with angry emails rife with spelling errors, talking about his "pregnant wife" and "going to church", bizarrely friendly text messages, and voicemails asking over and over why I was cancelling. I submitted my reason multiple times over email in order to have a written record of events, then was told I had to call so Chris could receive my request for cancellation on a "recorded line". I called, frustrated and ready to be done with this, I restated my desire for cancellation and was told something like "good luck getting through to the right department" right before being hung up on. Shortly after this exceedingly unprofessional phone call, I got a text from Chris saying "Good luck on your upcoming move the refund has been processed and God bless you" followed by a text - that I interpreted as meant to be intimidating, that said, "I like your linked-in profile.. best of luck". I received confirmation of the refund via a generic email address, but I will be paying close attention to my credit card account to be sure it's real. Just wanted to provide my experience as a cautionary tale. This is a great reminder that doing online research ahead of time is crucial.

These people have to be the worst movers on this planet. I am missing half of my stuff. They are asking me to remember what I am missing. One thing I was able to tell them was your driver's were hardly able to close the door on the truck. When my stuff was delivered it was only half full. I am now being told I have to file a claim. I paid big bucks for this nonsense.
