I had to take my zero turn mower in because the transmission would not engage, when I spoke to I believe his name was ***, he was very helpful about what was going on since I run a small lawn mowing business and this mower is my money makerHe had my mower fixed in less than a week because he stayed late a couple of nights fixing it to make sure that I did not get to far behind in mowing for my customersI have since been back to purchase other items from R E M power equipment because he is reasonably priced in his shop rates and he stands behind the products he sells

Great Guys! Very easy to deal with and really went out of their way to help me out! Would refer anyone I know to go see the guys at REM!

One year ago this summer, I decided to trade in my old troy built mower for a new zero turn HusqvarnaI went to REM and did the tradeThe owner and his employees were very helpful in getting the mower that best suited my needsI'll be back for any service I need on any equipment I have and I would recommend REM to anyone looking for good service and great prices!!

I only use my [redacted] power washer every two years or so and every time I try to start it I have to take off the air cleaner and pour gas into the carburetor before it will fire up. This time, it would start and run about 10 seconds and quit. I took off the carburetor and cleaned it out and blew it out and it still would not continue running. At time point, I got out the yellow pages and looked for a small engine repair shop. That's how I located REM. I called and was told to bring the power washer in, which I did. The shop was obviously busy with people coming in and leaving and equipment waiting to be worked on. I explained my problem. The owner helped me get the washer out of the SUV and put a tag on it and gave me part of the tag as a receipt. He said it would be at least a week before he could look at it. He said he would call when it was ready. About a week and a half later I was going that way and decided to call and check on the status. On checking, I was told that it was ready. I stopped by and the owner brought the washer out and started it with one pull. He helped me load it and presented me with the bill. It was $36, which I considered a very reasonable amount. I asked him what I could do to prevent the problem occurring again and he suggested that I use a product he sells which is a very stable gasoline made just for that purpose. I bought a pint for $7 and plan to use it when I finish and put the washer back into storage. I was very pleased by the quick service and reasonable price. I'll definitely be going back again.

On 5/5/took in a John Deer Riding mower that blades did not engage and was told that it would be about two weeksI have called about every days since the weeks were up and always have been told should be next week electrical problems take longer Today 6/was told that last year it was months wait and that they would not give me a date when it would be readyI plan to pick up my mower 6/and take it elsewhere

Excellent service Knowledgeable staff

I came all the way from Orlinda TN for them to fix my weed eaterThey did it within a week and for much less than Cirrus wanted to fix it I will be back for sure, and recommend them to anyone who needs a mower, weed eater or whatever fixedThey also sell new mowers, weed eaters, chain saws, and about anything you can think of

I took my john Deere riding lawn mower to these guys about a year ago because it wouldn't startThe owner took the time to look at it for me because I needed it like yesterday!! After about mins he had it running like a new one!! Ever since that they are the only ones I allow to work on my equipmentThey are great guys that are very fair priced and easy to do business with! I would defiantly recommend to my family and friends! Thanks for the good work!!

First off this is the first time that I did business with REM and it will be the last. They had my generator for three and a half months. I dropped off my Generac Generator on 5/5/14, I finally picked it up on 8/20/14 and it was still not fixed. They said that Generac sent them some messed up parts, so it will take longer. Then said Generac sent wrong part. One guy told Generac that they called me 2 different times, and never called at all. I just got the run around and the blame put on generac. I finally took matters in my own hands and called Generac and got the issue resolved through them, that they were just going to send me a new one and that I could just stop by and pick up the one that REM had. I called and told them what Generac told me and they said that the woman called and told them I was to pick it up. I wend on 8/20/14 to pick it up and get there and they had it apart and had no idea where the screws were. So I had to take the generator missing parts. And to top it all off they thought they should get to keep my generator, which is pretty stupid, considering that it's mine. They said that the 3.5 months that they worked on it that they were getting nothing out of it.. Well they didn't work on it, since they were blamming Generac, so I would say that they only worked on it half and hour, b/c it was plan as day what the problem was...just by taking out the screws. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. In fact I am going to spread the word VIA Internet/Social Media. P.S. who ever comments on this review from REM make sure you tell the truth..... That way you may get a little sleep.

I have owned my Toro riding mower for 7 years and never had an issue with it until this year. I was mowing the yard and all of a sudden the mower got much louder. Upon my investigation I discovered that the muffler had broken and was laying on the ground behind me. I found them online and went by to check it out with my muffler pieces. We looked up a replacement muffler and it was going to be $125ish. instead they offered to weld the pipe back to the muffler body for me. They said it will only be a short term fix, but for the $25 they charged me it was much better than the other option and I was able to go back to mowing that day instead of waiting a week for the part to come in.
I am planning on taking my son's go-kart down in the fall (slower season) so they can look through it and figure out why it isn't running like it should.

I had a Generac pressure washer that I had brought in for warranty work and it was not running well at all. Lots of Pings and pops and a few THWACKS!! I dont relly know what was wrong with it but being it was 5 days out of warranty these guys stepped up and got it replaced for me free of charge. This was however not a quick Process. It took a little over 3 months to get this acomplished and recieved calls with status updates and I called a few times as well and they explained how the warranty situations worked and they were very helpful. Thank you REM you have restored my faith in humanity!!

Great service the only people who could track down a hard to find out dated part for my chainsaw will be using them for any future repair or service needs

I went to REM for service of my mower, I have always been reluctant to use shops other than the dealer for service, but had heard great things about REM, so I decided to give them a try. I am sorry I ever doubted them! Best of all they are a locally owned small business and that's who I want to do business with. At the time I dropped off my mower they stated they they were backed up and it would be 2-3 weeks before it would be looked at, I conveyed to the guy that I was hoping for sooner, but understood. To my surprise, I got a call about 7 days later saying it was DONE! I expressed my surprise and asked what happened to 2-3 weeks, and the guy told me, "Well, I was getting more and more backed up so I worked late a couple of nights and didn't really have anything going on this past weekend so I decided to knock some jobs out!" WOW, not many people work when they don't have to anymore, that just amazed me! Thanks REM and see you this fall for winterizing!
