Complaint: once again crestview is avoiding the subject matter of the complaintthey took too long to fix original repair missing slide repairmissing detailing that I had to domissing putting in the rubber edgingwe ask for on orderdamaging our rv we missed selling the rv three times

Crestview RV sent an email July 13th indicating we would like to review the details of their claimThey responded saying they were unable to provide the photos and documentation until a later dateWe are waiting for these photos and documentation to proceed.Email below:*** ***

Thank you for making known to us this customer's dissatisfactionI spoke with the customer 9/13, this was the first time this issue had been brought to my attention, however after speaking with the customer it is my understanding that the customer did make attempts to reach others in the dealership
to get the items deliveredWe regret the breakdown in communication and delays it took to get these items rectified for Mr***We have ordered the parts, the remotes are scheduled to arrive next week, with the pillows to arrive in a couple weeksI apologize for the delay and miscommunication and we are working to get these items in Mr***'s possessionIf you have any questions please don’t hesitate to reachThank you again for your help in this matter*** ***

We have made contact with Mr*** *** on February 9th, 2016 and have agreed to his request to refund him completely for the repairs done to his motorhome in September We are issuing a refund to him in the amount of $1466.35.Thank you,*** ***Crestview RV*** ***

The RV in question, a Jayco Jay Feather came into our service center on June 13th and had over $7,worth of insurance repairs completed by August 28thThe length of time was primarily due to the large amount of repairs completed to RVOne of the items to be addressed in addition to the
insurance repairs was an adjustment of the slide out mechanismUnfortunately, the adjustment was not able to be performed and needed a motor assembly to complete and fix correctlyJayco, the manufacturer of the travel trailer did not have stock of this part and therefore we became dependent on the motor supplier for replacement parts.Crestview RV voluntarily paid the air freight to get the part here as quickly as possible once it became available from the third party supplierWe also began installing it the same day we received the part knowing the customer had listed their travel trailer for saleWe contacted the customer via phone and email on 9/7/as well as 9/8/indicating the repairs had been completed and offered to deliver the unit to the customer's residence.I spoke with the customer on 9/9/and it was decided the customer would pick up the travel trailer from our facility at approximately PM on 9/12/17.We currently have a shortage of used travel trailer inventory and would be happy to entertain purchasing the RV from the customer, though not for the original purchase price of $25,as outlined in the complaintWe understand this complaint originated due to the time it took to complete repairs and also due to the customer trying to sell the unit during the same time periodWe strive to complete repairs for all of our customers as quickly as possible but there are many underlying factors in RV repair which can influence these time linesWe value each and every one of our customers and have made efforts in good faith to rectify this complaint

*** ** delivered the RV back to the customer's residence on September 12,At that time, we went through the slide out operation with *** *** to confirm it was working as designedThere were no issues present and this work was done at no charge to the customer.We are confident the repairs are complete and paid to expedite the parts from the vendor on behalf of the customerWe believe all of the customer's issues have been addressed at this point and are requesting to close this complaint.Thank you,*** *** **-***

[redacted] has shown the lack of customer service taking so long repaiing the roof, missing the slide repair when asked to did ithitting and damaging our rv and delaying sales and doing a horrible job detailing it    What should of been a 4 week job has taken nearly 3 monthsand the lack of communication should be noted  we may be a small rv yet should not be treated this way
