I am writing this email in regards to the complaint filed by [redacted] for not receiving her down payment refund On Monday morning, 7/18/16, I did call the customer and left her a voicemail apologizing for any inconvenience and did let her know her down payment refund check for $was in the mail The down payment check has been mailed If you have any other further questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the office at ###-###-####

Mrs*** did purchase a kirby vacuum cleaner from us on January 16, She also had a co-signer on her contract (*** ***.) We first heard from a *** *** (Mrs***'s daughter) at the end of February Unfortunately, by the time she called, it was past the three day
cancellation policyWe cannot cancel Mrs*** and Mr***'s Kirby purchase as it is past the three business day cancellation periodThe last day to cancel would have been January 21, After the three day cancellation period, the customer's contract is sold to the finance company where the payments are sent

Kirby.  I cannot verify what the salesman told him about the Kirby warranty as I was not present at the time of the sale.  However, a pamphlet on the Kirby warranty is given to the customer at the time of sale.  The part the customer is referring to in this complaint sounds like it will be covered under warranty, it is the cost of labor that is not.  This is stated in the warranty pamphlet the customer received at the time of sale.  Customer was told to bring his Kirby to the service center in Apple Valley to be repaired and to call us back if the labor costs were extensive.   Thank you, Robin Remah Company Inc
