Review: I contacted Ms. [redacted] who is a real-estate agent for Re/Max and requested if she could rent my condo back in November 2012. The condo needed repairs, such as painting, cabinets to be replaced, floors to be replaced and bathroom to be done. Ms. [redacted] brought an individual whom she said he did excellent work and was licensed. The contractor in question names is [redacted] Mr. [redacted] did not speak English but [redacted] so Ms. [redacted] had to translate for me. I was charged $6500 to complete the work. I said it was excessive but Ms. [redacted] assured me that he did great work. I agreed. She requested that I pay him cash. I wrote a check. The contractor took several months to complete the project. I asked him at one point when he was installing the counter tops was he installing granite? He said no he was using something better. I later learned that he used subpar material and the counter tops had bubbles underneath.

Ms. [redacted] rented out the condo to her friend after assuring me the person was not a problem. The person moved in of February 2013. The person stayed a couple of months and there was nothing but problems from him. Ms. [redacted] drew up the rental contracted and charged the person more than a month and half of rent which is illegal in **. I was not aware of this practice. Ms. [redacted] was made aware that the tenant was a problem. The tenant eventually moved out around I believe it was May 2013. I was charged $1300 by the agency.

I had some concerns about Ms. [redacted] so I went with another agency. I later rented the condo again in July 2013. The new tenants complained of some problems with the counter top. I was able to contact Mr. [redacted] he came out to make some of repairs but never returned to make the rest of the repairs. I learned from the tenant recently that counter top has bubbles and there are other repairs. The tenant did not tell me earlier because he did not want to botheDesired Settlement: I would like for the counter tops and cabinets to be replaced with quality material such as granite. I would also like an adjustment in my bill because I believe I was overcharged for the work.
