I was so impressed with Mark from start to finishI had rental properties in Reading, PA that I wanted to sell but had been delaying any attempt because I currently live miles away in Portland, OR and based on past experiences I wasn't confident that any of my previous Realtors could handle the task without my constant involvement and oversightI searched reviews and finally made the decision to go with MarkBest decision ever! Not only did Mark sell all of my properties faster than I ever thought possible but he handled all of the little things that I was not able to do from so far awayI completely felt as if Mark handled these properties as if he was selling my own personnel home with the potential for a big commission and not the inner-city rental properties with less than cooperative tenants and the minimum commission possibleAmong many other things he went so far as to find contractors when repairs were needed and most of all he did an amazing job working with (and most times around) the property manager that was handling my properties and was less than responsiveOverall Mark did an amazing job and I would very highly recommend him to anyone I know that is trying to sell a propertyHe is not only professional and skilled he is also friendly, a pleasure to work with and is incredibly patientI always felt as if Mark had my best interests in mind every time he was dealing with potential buyersI could go on and on about how impressed I was with Mark and how he certainly goes above and beyond, but will just say that if you have a property to sell...Mark is your man!

I was so impressed with Mark from start to finish. I had 4 rental properties in Reading, PA that I wanted to sell but had been delaying any attempt because I currently live 3000 miles away in Portland, OR and based on past experiences I wasn't confident that any of my previous Realtors could handle the task without my constant involvement and oversight. I searched reviews and finally made the decision to go with Mark. Best decision ever! Not only did Mark sell all 4 of my properties faster than I ever thought possible but he handled all of the little things that I was not able to do from so far away. I completely felt as if Mark handled these properties as if he was selling my own personnel home with the potential for a big commission and not the inner-city rental properties with less than cooperative tenants and the minimum commission possible. Among many other things he went so far as to find contractors when repairs were needed and most of all he did an amazing job working with (and most times around) the property manager that was handling my properties and was less than responsive. Overall Mark did an amazing job and I would very highly recommend him to anyone I know that is trying to sell a property. He is not only professional and skilled he is also friendly, a pleasure to work with and is incredibly patient. I always felt as if Mark had my best interests in mind every time he was dealing with potential buyers. I could go on and on about how impressed I was with Mark and how he certainly goes above and beyond, but will just say that if you have a property to sell...Mark is your man!

Review: The situations described below took place on the following dates:

April 4th,2013= I met with realtor [redacted] of Remax of [redacted], who priced my home at 79,900.00 and left papers and contrac for me to sign.

April 5th,2013= I brought the signed contract and disclosure forms to ReMax. Up to this date, I have not received a copy of the signed contract.

April 13th, 2013= [redacted] called me and requested monthly charges for water and electric. She didn't specify why.

April 14th, 2013= A cuople with a child about 10 years old are banging on my door, walking through the yard and jumping back and forth across a stream dividing my property from my neighbor's. I went out and asked what was going on. The asked if this was the property for sale. I advised them it was, but they have to be escorted onto the property by their buyers' agent, otherwise, they are trespassing. The woman got angry and said she wouldn't buy a house from me. I left a voice mail for [redacted] explaining the incident.

April 16th, 2013= [redacted] returns my call and tells me they are buyers who have signed with an aqent. I told [redacted] the same as I told the trespassers-they need to be here with their agent or have the phrase "drive by" fully explained to them. A month and a half later on a phone call with [redacted], she claims I dismissed an interested couple she "sent over".

April 24th, 2013= I brought keys to Remax to expedite getting a lockbox on my door. Still no pictures of my house online or with agent.

April 26th, 2013= I sent [redacted] an email regarding the keys and photos. Still no action.

April 29th, 2013= [redacted] called me to advise house showing for today postponed. Still no lock box or photos.

May 1st, 2013= Lock box found on the door.

May 2nd 2013= Buyer's agent showed my home. An old lock without a key was locked and I had to break into my home. I advised [redacted] of situation and told her I will be there in the future for all showings, now making the lock box moot. Her brief apology for the problem was negated by a lengthier explanation defending the agent's actions.

May 8th, 2013= I went to the local library to copy photos I took of my home, drove to ReMax-a 30 mile one way trip- to deliver the pictures. [redacted]'s procratination could be costing me sales. Pictures finally show online about a week later that someone else had taken.

June 4th, 2013= Another house showing by buyer's agent.

June 10th 2013= Another showing by buyer's agent.

June 25th 2013= A phone call from [redacted] to give me feedback on the last three showing. Feedback is supposed to take place as soon as possible after each showing. I suggested a one week unadvertised special for 76,900.00 with the theme "celebrate your independence and the spirit of 76" . She claims she never heard of doing anything like it. I told her it would be an all points bulletin to agents only, buyers have to pay the full price and place their deposit by the 7th day midnight. [redacted] told me to keep the price where it is and give the agent/agents the $3000. HOW GREEDY. I refused.

June 27th, 2013= I emailed ReMax headquarters regarding my one week marketing idea. An auto replay email claimed someone would get in touch with me shortly. I'm still waiting.

June 29th, 2013= I emailed [redacted] again regarding my one week, unadvertised special, which would begin the next day.

July 1st,2013= Email from [redacted] claims it would be at least a week to submit advertising info. Again, I explained UNADVERTISED special. I told her no showings this week without a detailed explaination for her refusal.

July 2nd, 2013= Email from [redacted] claims will do special. I have no way of proving this was done.

July 3rd, 2013= Another house showing by buyer's agent. At the end of the showing, the woman tells me they can't buy a house until they sell their's. I spoke with thier agent, [redacted], same Remax agency as [redacted]. I told her these people are not qualified to buy a house, which she didn't deny. She is also their seller's agent. The "buyers" were not very bright, asking the same questions over and over again. In addition, they were the people traipsing around my yard who [redacted] sent over months prior.

July 12th, 2013= A young man sees me in the yard, apologizes for disturbing me, asks me if this is the house for sale and if it is for sale by owner since no realtor info online is attached to my listing online. Maybe that is way I witnessed dozens of drive-bys and very few showings.

July 15th, 2013= Email from [redacted] with a contract from the July 3rd "buyers". She didn't phone with with an offer and having told [redacted] I would not accept a deposit from them and an indefinter closing date, I get just that. I refused the offer. I countered with full price and 4-6 weeks closing date. No response.Desired Settlement: [redacted], Manager of ReMax of [redacted], refused to acknowledge my messages, dumping them back onto [redacted]. I want from him a letter of apology for refusing to deal with me directly, for having an agent [redacted], who acts distracted, procrastinates and doesn't fully explain situations. She colluded with a fellow co-worker to dump a exasperating client on me who was not qualified to buy my home. I verified the buyers' home info. It is still an actively for sale. I want my contract cancelled, not withdrawn, without any penalties.

This email is to follow up our earlier conversation on the above referenced complaint.

On or about the date of the filing of this complain we had granted **. [redacted] the unconditional release she had requested.

Although **. [redacted] attempted to accommodate the numerous requests that **. [redacted] had, unfortunately it was not enough to satisfy her needs.

We are never happy when we can not meet the needs of one of our clients and we wish **. [redacted] the best of luck in finding a new agency that will be able to sell her house.
