For one neither my mom nor I used any provanity. When the manager I assume got to the store he came over to us and his first words were come on lets go to the police station. I said I am not going to any police station and it was at that time he said get out of my store. He would not listen to any thing we had to say. he told his girl *** to call the police at which time my daughter said we are leaving. My daughter found someone to take the couch back. *** called me a lier and stated there was not a hole in the couch. My daughter then said yes there was I saw it and actually my little finger could go into the hole. They were very rude and disrespectful to me and my daughter. I am** years old and have never been treated so rudely
Thank you,

In response to the consumer [redacted], complaint #[redacted] Regarding her purchase of furniture with Corvin’s Furniture @ [redacted]
I will attach with this response the invoice as well as a photo of the Sofa...

Ms. [redacted] Returned.
The purchase initiated on March 16-2015 was a lay-away purchase on furniture and accessory.
The retail price of the sofas Ashley [redacted]/sofa was $549.00. The salesperson, [redacted] discounted the sofa to $451.00 *. The discount Ms. [redacted] received on the Sofa was $98.00. Ms. [redacted] also purchased a Chair /Newport 8200-92 @ $399.00 which Ms. [redacted] kept.
The sale price for both the sofa and chair was $850.00, * She also purchased a floral arrangement of $29.00 [redacted] discounted to $25.00 Ms. [redacted] kept floral arrangement. Her delivery charge of $50.00 and Sales tax was $55.50.
Her total invoice was $980.50 Ms. [redacted] paid a deposit by credit card of $300.00 to reserve the furniture on March 16, 2015. Our normal lay-away is 30 days Ms. [redacted] exceeded by 60 days.
Her next payment of $120.00 paid on May 1-2015 by credit card .
Her final payment of $560.00 paid on May 28, 2015 by credit card.
Ms. [redacted] requested delivery to be May 29, 2015. She was having some type of party and entertaining guests at her residence. The furniture was delivered on May 29, 2015. June 2-2015 we were notified by Ms. [redacted] that she had a hole in her sofa. June 3-2015 Upon inspection the sofa was picked up and there was not a hole, however, the spot she was complaining about was a tuft in the upholstery that was repaired June 3- 2015 delivered back to Ms. [redacted] and she signed that it was acceptable. *Copy of the returned sofa and satisfaction attached
Ms. [redacted] called again a few weeks later at or about June 22-2015 and said her cushion was wrinkling. We asked her to bring in the sofa cushion in and we would inspect the cushion to see what her complaint was. [redacted], the owner, spoke to Ms. [redacted] and told her that the cushion wrinkles She was complaining about was the gathering of the fabric at the piping on the edge of the sofa, [redacted] offered her to go in the showroom and inspect the other sofas, and if there was another cushion that she liked he would trade out that cushion. They could not find a Cushion and requested a refund. [redacted] agreed to take the sofa back however; there would be a 20% restock fee. However, she was only charged 10% restocking fee.
Ms. [redacted] and her daughter did not like the solution. They were both using profanity and were asked to leave the store. If they wanted to return the Sofa it would be their responsibility to return the sofa to the store. An inspection was done on July 6– 2015 a refund of $419.76 was given on July 6-2015 to Ms. [redacted]’s credit card. Ms. [redacted] kept her chair and the floral arrangement.
If you should have any questions, please call me (a)[redacted].
