Hello, the customer purchased this policy with us over the phone  on March 3rd with our agent [redacted]. [redacted] spoke with Mrs [redacted] and explained to her all fees and conditions of the policy. Attached you will  find the emails and text messages exchanged between Mrs [redacted] and [redacted]...

discussing the premium and service fees that as agents we do have. Mr. and Mrs both received an explanation by phone as well over the premium and fees. Mrs [redacted] was given a receipt where it shows the break down of the charge that was done that day. The difference on the amounts and the 25% mark up the customer is talking about refers to our service fees. As an independent agency we have are allowed to charge fees and those fees are always explained to the customers when doing the transaction. Once [redacted], the home insurance company, received the double payment over the mail from [redacted] directly they credited her account. Our agent [redacted] became aware of the situation once Mrs [redacted] text her stating that [redacted] had also received a check from [redacted]. [redacted] then called [redacted] and requested a refund for the premium amount [redacted] had over paid. We have no control over [redacted] and cannot force or speed up their accounting process. We did followed up and made sure that the refund was getting processed but the time it took for it to be done was out of our hands. The customer did a charge back on the premium amount which we did not dispute and we tried to collect now from [redacted] as for the money the customer paid us has been drafted by [redacted] the very next day the policy was activated. The policy is still and will maintain active until the term is completed.

This gentleman [redacted] purchased this engine from us April 16/15. Approximately 2 months later he phoned stating the engine was making a noise. He was told to send the engine back and we would replace it with...

another engine. We were actually doing him a favor as our policy is 30 day warranty. We never received the engine back. His warranty is long past. Sorry for his loss but there is nothing more we can do.

In response to the complaint concerning [redacted] ID number [redacted] . This person has their refund. she purchased the item on the 19th Jan they called to say it was the wrong one we gave them another one they phoned on the 26th of Jan stating it was wrong .When they returned it we had no money...

Hello, Mr. [redacted]  made several payment with us and several straight with the company which is Tejas Seguro. As an independent Agency we represent multiple insurance companies and we quote and offer the best one that fits the customers needs. Mr [redacted] state he paid $175+ for continuous...

coverage the actual amount he charged was $181 which includes his premium and also our service fees. That payment was uploaded to Tejas and was credited top his account. The customer then requested to replace vehicles, but we do not have any control on the amounts the company is going to charge. The Insurance companies have their rate process entered into the system and it automatically gives us a price. We are not able to modify that price, so when the insurance company gives us a rate it is because the customer qualifies for that rate based on the territory they are in, vehicle's symbol, age, discounts among other variables. The customer stated that he paid $91 which he did but not through us. He paid that amount straight with the company Tejas Seguro. Customer also stated that he paid $250 which we do not see that payment on our system nor in Tejas Seguro. Our agent [redacted] spoke with the customer on March 19 and requested bank statements which the customer agreed to send to us so we could do more research on the "missing" payment and credit his account if we did charge it but never applied. Our accounting department also researched on their end and were not able to find any transactions for Mr [redacted] on our system. We have a very detail and organized accounting system in which if something is not uploaded or credited it will show the next day and accounting department will credit the account. We did follow up with Mr [redacted] for the proof of bank statement but he failed to turned those documents in. We do not have a record of those $250 and neither does Tejas Seguro. Customer's policy is now canceled for non payment and to activate a policy the amount the agent suggested to the customer was the amount the company asked for. We try to look out for the customer and always satisfy their insurance needs by finding a company that best fits them. We try to keep it within their budget but we cannot modify any rates. Should you need additional information please do let me know. Thanks

I have been insured under AMCO for two years and this company has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Their representatives are incompetent and do not care about the customer. Every time I call to discuss my policy I am given a variety of excuses and told I would be called back within 30 minutes which never happens no matter which branch I connect with in their wild card phone system. Days go by and no call back so I call them back only to get the same run around.
Last month August 2016 I received a call and was informed that my auto policy was set to renew and was assured by the representative who contacted me that my rates would go down so I agreed to renew only to find that after my debit card was charged that my rate increased although I have automatic payment draft from my bank account, a clean driving record and two years of uninterrupted history with the company. Then I was told they will not refund the $168 renewal fee and asked to call back this month to find that the rate I was quoted on September 1st was incorrect and my rate was $5 more that the representative two weeks ago provided.
I've left complaints with the corporate office, no call back. I have called and requested upper management call me back, no call back. Honestly I do not know how this poor excuse for an insurance company is still in business. I do not recommend AMCO / REMCO Insurance. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR HARD EARNED MONEY WITH THESE PEOPLE.
