Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. There absolutely IS more that *** can do; she can return the money she has stolen from me, as I've said repeatedly. That is quite the business model Take clients on, perform the highest-profit margin service, then say "good riddance" because she is too unprofessional to have an adult conversation to clear up HER mis-understanding What a strategy for ensuring you increase your profits Any business owner with a conscience would never treat a sick customer like that -- a customer that sought help from and entrusted her to treat them with care
[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, we would like to know your view on the matter.]

We are sorry that she is unhappy but unfortunately there is nothing further we can do

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the lack of justification for the unprofessional behavior and "theft" of my money and how to resolve are in the attached document.
Here is my Response to each of [redacted] points in her letter. Nothing she has stated justifies her
completely unprofessional behavior and wasting my time and money. She is grasping at straws
and making statements that I can easily disprove, claims she’s trying to make simply to avoid
admitting wrongdoing.
I would like the money returned that she has completely wasted, and in my mind, stolen from
me.
Enclosed is my response to a letter Ms. [redacted] sent regarding her issues. Due to HIPPA I do not
feel comfortatle releasing her initial letter to me.
My RESPONSE: You, Revdex.com, already have the letter I provided to her. What’s more, I
find it humorous that she references HIPPA, since as I spelled out to her, requiring
customers to share their outside medical care is clearly breaking HIPPA laws. Therefore,
since she cannot legally require anyone to share information then discontinuing their care
because a client didn’t share their info clearly must be against the law. Yes? That said,
I absolutely was planning to share everything during my follow-up appt. Tests that I’d
had done, my symptoms, etc. That’s what a follow-up appt is for. I had all of my
documentation with me when I returned to Remedies for what I thought was my followup
appt. That included multi-year comparisons of bloodwork that I actively pulled
together (because I didn’t have everything during my first appt, which she asked clients
for). For someone who claims to be so busy, I would like to know how many clients
share every single detail for everything they’re doing in between every appt with her.
I’m quite certain people don’t share every single detail, nor would she have the time to or
want to be updated on everything in between every appt. Again, that is what follow-up
appts. are for. If she can prove otherwise, that every client shares every detail in between
every appointment, then I’ll admit to being the outlier.
The bottom line is in the manner that I practice there has to be open communication on both
sides. –
My RESPONSE: Exactly; SHE refused repeated requests to answer my questions, to
give me the assessment that I paid her to provide. She is the one that was extremely
delinquent in her communication. You can see that clearly in the documentation I shared.
I asked repeatedly for her to answer 2 simple questions and she refused. What’s more,
IF she had a problem with anything I was doing or not doing, a professional would have
an adult conversation with the client, not just send a passive-aggressive e-mail attachment
saying “so long.”
Piece-meal information is not helpful to me as a practitioner for the on-going care of my
clients.
My RESPONSE: I don’t know what piecemeal information she is referring to. There is
NOTHING that I’d had done or that had any impact on the ingested products I was
taking, and I WAS taking everything as suggested. And when things came up that I
wanted to change or investigate, I DID inquire about them AT THE TIME they came up,
AND I put them in 2 efficient e-mails so as to not overburden the staff. SHE is the one
who caused excess communication by refusing to answer my 2 simple questions,
repeatedly. After 26 years in the corporate world, I am efficient in my
communications….as shown in the e-mail strings that I provided. I listed all questions
that I had about things that were going on with me. IF she is threatened by people doing
their own research or doing everything they can to get better, as I said to her, I highly
suggest she re-evaluate her commitment to caring about her clients. So her position
seems to be that clients should work/communicate with her (which I absolutely did) but
she doesn’t need to communicate with them. I also asked her to show me where in her
documentation does it inform clients that she can end their care at any time, and of course
she doesn’t have such documentation. How convenient. She’s happy to take customer’s
money for the most expensive/highest profit margin visit and then say “so long.” If she
did that to me – someone who has multiple family members who’ve seen her over many
years – imagine how she might treat completely new clients.
Therefore, I believe Remedies is not for Ms. [redacted].
Regarding the expenses, as explained in the attached letter, she chose to have two footbaths, an
evaluation and opened/ingested products..
My RESPONSE: Yes, as I also stated, I chose to do those things on the premise that I
would continue working with Remedies. EVERYONE who knows anything about
holistic care knows that it takes time. Problems develop slowly and reversing them can
also be slow. Thus, we agreed to a follow-up appointment 3 months later. I suspect
every client that walks out of the initial consults has a follow-up appt scheduled before
they leave, as I did. Which I fully intended to attend and actually did go to, as Nicki is
aware, because I did not see her unprofessional, passive-aggressive attachment that
cancelled my appt. As also shown in the e-mail string, I asked her if I might see ANY
improvements during the first 3 months or would it require more treatments. Her
response is that we’d determine at the next appointment, proving that we both intended
that a follow-up appt would occur. Instead she passive-aggressively cancelled my appt.
and completely wasted my money and just as importantly my time, as I could have been
seeking care elsewhere.
You can clearly see by her response that she does not have a good view of Remedies.
My RESPONSE: Of course I no longer have a good view of Remedies, as displayed by
this complaint and caused by HER completely unprofessional, abusive behavior.
nor does she choose to work together with me by supplying vital information concerning her ongoing
health care. I cannot do my best to help if I do not have all the necessary information
available to make proper suggestions.
My RESPONSE: As noted above, I DID provide vital information WHEN I HAD IT.
The PROOF is in the e-mails. What’s more, she stated her reason that I wasn’t working
in good faith was because I hadn’t kept her informed of appts, like my Mayo visit.
Again, as stated repeatedly, I didn’t even go to Mayo until 2 weeks AFTER she said “so
long.” Therefore, how on earth could I update her?! And, as I also spelled out to her in
the letter, I actively moved my Mayo appt. in order to a) give as much time as possible
for her products to “work” and b) have the Mayo TESTING done just prior to my followup
appt with her because I wasn’t planning to do anything prior to seeing her again.
Having worked in the research world for 20 years, I KNOW what it means to control
variables, to avoid extraneous variables, etc. So for her to suggest I wasn’t working in
good faith is complete BS. Again, as also shown in the e-mails, IF I wanted to adjust
anything I DID ask her. Exactly what more does she want?!
What’s more, as I also said before, other holistic providers have absolutely zero problem
with patients’ continuing with traditional care as well, whether they’re informed of it or
not.
The schedule I ere at Remedies is quite full. We have appointments booked out for the next two
years with people who want to work in a team fashion to obtain better health .
My RESPONSE: Just as an FYI for you (Revdex.com), her 2 year backlog is not actually 2
years. Her new-patient timeslots are likely just a few per month. I know of no one,
especially someone with a serious medical condition (like my cancer) that has waited
more than 2-4 months to see her. People always get moved up. No one waits for 2 years.
Sandra obviously, does by stating "she has ZERO right to know or require disclosure ... "
regarding testing done.
My RESPONSE: The above statement IS completely accurate, which Nicki clearly
knows. Because of HIPPA she cannot require customers to share anything with her.
THAT is against the law. That said, as I’ve also said repeatedly, I did share relevant
information as things came up AND I absolutely was planning to discuss and share
everything at my follow-up appointment. If she’d bothered to have an adult conversation
about it, she would have known that. I had all documentation with me, in my Remedies
folder and planned to discuss EVERYTHING.
Now, she is backpedaling trying to justify her extremely unprofessional behavior and
ripping me off. The only resolution to this is a refund of my money, for the time and
money she wasted. Which by the way, I don’t have any to waste as I’ve not worked for
over 9 months due to my rare cancer diagnosis, serious surgery, and subsequent
difficulties. And I am a single household – just me earning an income. Thus, only a
refund of $956 will satisfy this complaint.
