Review: I sent in a payment of $3,995.00 to the Remedy Center Law Associates when I completed the application process for a refinance of my home. I was told that I was eligible for a lower interest rate and a lower mortgage payment. All personal information was sent to this firm for a refinance and when I was told that in order to complete the refinance, I needed to send in #3,995.00 to complete the application. I borrowed the money to be able to complete the process.A week after sending the check, I had not heard back from the person I had been working with so I called him. I left messages for [redacted] from this firm for six weeks. Finally after six weeks, I received a call from him and he informed me I did not qualify for the refinance. I was extremely upset with his call and he advised me to write a letter and he would work with me to get my money back. This situation has caused me a great deal of stress and financial hardship. I mailed a letter to the firm as advised by [redacted] and two months later after numerous unanswered phone calls to Remedy, I received a letter from them which was a 'release of liability' form stating they would only reimburse me $2,000.00. While I was upset about this, I felt I needed to at least recover half of my loss. I signed the letter and returned it as directed. I sent the letter on August 5, 2014. The release stated that I would receive the refund in 10 business days from their receipt of the release. I have not received this refund to date and I feel what they did was a scam they should be held accountable.I am an honest, trusting and hard working person who has been scammed. I was lied to, misled, and it has been a true hardship for me to lose this $3,995.00.Desired Settlement: I want to be reimbursed the money that was taken from me.

Review: In March of 2013 I received a post card in the mail stating that the Remedy Center Law could save me thousands on refinance of my Bank of America Mortgage, they sent me the application via email and numerous persons spoke w/ me over the phone from different departments, they request three post dated Checks via fedex in the amounts totaling $3995.00, and requested personal information such as bank accounts, drivers license, social security numbers of me and my spouse...Jointly applied... lien to house info. monthly bills, they specially said not to contact my lender because that will compromise the application, I have been in contact with them ever since until about one month ago the phone numbers that provided to me all went of of service and no email contact, I did go online to investigate and I am seeing that the company is a fraud. I have all paper work pertaining to this application and letters of assurance that I should get a refi...I had to change all my banking information because of thisDesired Settlement: All of my money back $3995.00
