On 10-24-we at remedy electric received a request to install a customer furnished kitchen surface mounted light fixtureA appointment was scheduled for the next day 10-25-Later in the day of the 24th we at remedy electric received another call from the customer asking for advice on the fixture that would be best for a kitchen area, it was explained that previous customers loved the led four foot surface mounted light fixturesAt that time the customer said thanksLater in the same day of the 24th we at remedy electric received another call from the customer stating that she had her son measure the existing fixture and it was 1/inches wide and feet longThe customer was worried about covering the area under the fixtureI the owner of the business was the one who answered the call and was at lowes getting a similar fixture for another, left the purchase lane I was in and went to the light fixture isle and gave the customer the sku numbers of numerous light fixtures that would be good in her kitchenThe customer said thanks and ended the callThe day of 10-25-we at remedy electric arrived at the customers home and found that the customer had purchased a light fixture apparently a 1/inch smaller than the existing fixtureWe at remedy installed the customer furnished light fixtureThe light fixture did not cover the complete hole under the fixtureI informed the customer that she could place a small amount of caulk and it would not be noticeableThe customer payed the discounted price ( we do work for the parents of this customer), and received a dollar tipThe customer asked us to go to her parents home they also have a electrical issueThe whole time that we were at the customers home we spoke of our vacation that started at the completion of her project, ( we were closed from 10-26-to 11-6-17)All customers were informed of the vacation and closing, a message was placed on our answering machineRemedy electric went next door to the parents home and reset a g.f.c.I outlet and talked with them for hoursLovely peopleThe customer in question stopped by and mentioned the small gap under the fixture and stated I wish You would not have cheaped out and got the correct light fixtureNothing else was said about the fixtureWe at remedy electric said our goodbyes and started our vacationWhile in Mexico I checked our messages and did not see a message from the customer but did see where the customer had placed a negative remark to the credit card company and had called the Revdex.com stating that we were not calling her back, and ignoring her callsI texted the customer from Mexico and again told her we were not ignoring her but were out of the countryThe customer stated that she wants her money back for the install since I would not call her backWe at remedy electric gave the customer the sku numbers of the lights that would fit the space, the customer ignored the advice and bought a fixture that was smaller than the existing, but says it's my faultRemedy electric does not believe that a refund is deserved due to the customer ignoring our advice and purchasing a light fixture smaller than the existingAll we were payed to do is replace a kitchen light fixture and we didWe at remedy electric are sorry that the customer is unhappy but don't know what we could do for her as she has already had the fixture replaced Thanks the owner of remedy electric

Very bad experience indeedThe appointments were not kept and moved multiple timesI do understand there are emergency situations and mistakes do happen but we set it right and move on The last appointment was a no show which really upset me since I had to take time off work because someone had to be home There was no follow up of any kind after the no show and when I called them to ask about this, they wanted me to find someone else to do the job Extremely bad customer service indeed and very disappointing

Just wanted to give a quick shout out to Remedy Electric in Lakeway for some great work recently completed at our home We installed a charger for our car and a whole house surge protector They were very courteous, friendly, and worked hard to not wake up our 18mth old Even better, I asked for bids from a few electricians, and Remedy was 60% lower than one of the bids I received and was the best overall Highly recommend

Remedy Electric a family owned business did an outstanding job installing elaborate chandeliers in my homeThey were on time, very efficient, courteous and awesome at troubleshooting and problem solvingMy very expensive chandeliers were missing crystals and they figured out a way to make them look gorgeous!

The customer was worried about covering the area under the fixture. I the owner of the business was the one who answered the call and was at lowes getting a similar fixture for another, left the purchase lane I was in and went to the light fixture isle and gave the customer the sku numbers of numerous light fixtures that would be good in her kitchen. The customer said thanks and ended the call. The day of 10-25-17 we at remedy electric arrived at the customers home and found that the customer had purchased a light fixture apparently a 1/4 inch smaller than the existing fixture. We at remedy installed the customer furnished light fixture. The light fixture did not cover the complete hole under the fixture. I informed the customer that she could place a small amount of caulk and it would not be noticeable. The customer payed the discounted price ( we do work for the parents of this customer), and received a 10.00 dollar tip. The customer asked us to go to her parents home they also have a electrical issue.
