This complaint was filed in the wrong market & I'd prefer it be moved to the OK market. At any rate, this is the first I've heard of this, but someone will be by today to tack the shingle down. Thanks

It seems as if this customer hasn't received the customer service we strive to achieve.? It is my understanding someone has made contact with this customer and Remedy will stand behind its warranty

Repairs to my roof were started by Remedy Roofing on 6/23/2015.  Currently, repairs are on-going and are NOT complete.

From: [redacted]] Sent: Tuesday, March 24, 2015 10:35 AM To: drteam Subject: Complaint # [redacted]   To whom it may concern   This is the first we’ve heard of the above referenced complaint number.  We weren’t contacted by the consumer, nor have we been...

able to inspect the roof to see what is wrong.  Before the Revdex.com gets involved and this complaint goes on our record, I am asking that we are given the opportunity to rectify this situation without getting  the Revdex.com involved.  We value our lack of complaints and will do everything possible to accommodate this consumer.  Please let me know if this is doable and we will contact the consumer to set up a time to inspect their roof. Regards,
Per Greg A[redacted]'s request, I emailed Greg 2 sets of photos showing
damage to my roof.  Set 1 of 2 contains 18 photos & set 2 of 2
contains 10 photos. I am also attaching those 2 emails along with the 2 sets of photos, to this response.Remedy Roofing has yet to approve my request for $6840 to have my roof repaired and so far, no actual repairs has been done to my roof.

I did report this problem to Remedy Roofing on 2-9-2015. On 2-11-2015 I
spoke with Joe G[redacted] who handles warranty issues for Remedy Roofing.
Joe told me that a Remedy employee, Carlos, will setup a time with me to
inspect my roof.
On 2-12-2015 Carlos from Remedy came to inspect the issue with my roof. I
have to say, from the time Carlos stepped onto my property, Carlos acted
more like an attorney coming up with reasons to deny my claim than a
professional unbiased roofer. Instead of taking ownership of the problem,
below are some of the "reasons" Carlos came up to shoot my claim down:
A. Carlos said when there is a rain gutter, the WOOD trim behind the
gutter is the drip-edge/flashing; so in his opinion no METAL flashing was
needed?!?! Before Carlos, I had 3 other roofers come by. All 3 roofers
said that the damage to my trim & facia WOOD was because the required
METAL flashing was missing to protect the WOOD from moisture. Also I had
spoken with [redacted] permitting & inspections department. They
said the city follows the [redacted]) which does
call out for a metal flashing to protect wood trim & facia. Carlos got
upset & told me: "Are you in the roofing business? I am the professional
roofer here!".
B. Carlos then tried putting the blame on me. He said "You have not
painted & maintained the trim". I said not true; roof was done by Remedy
in 2009. In 2011 the entire stucco property was repainted including
facia, trim & rain gutters.
C. Then Carlos said "Prove to me that there was metal flashing before we
replaced your roof". I mean the man was pulling out all stops to walk
away from the issue. I told him that I cannot prove that but since Remedy
replaced the roof they should have installed the needed metal flashing to
protect the wood trim since that is the standard accepted roofing industry
practice. All the other 3 roofers had said that a metal
flashing/drip-edge is needed to protect wood facia & trim from moisture &
rain.
D. Then Carlos said "Since you are not the original owner, I have to go
back to the office & look up your contract. I need to see what was
discussed with original owner". The man came across as more interested in
finding paperwork & more reasons to deny my claim. He was not at all
interested in doing the right thing & standing behind Remedy's roofing
work & service. He even refused to give me his business card.
As a homeowner, Carlos came across as an unprofessional biased person &
not a roofer interested & proud of his craft. In future I would prefer to
not have any interaction with Carlos.
Next day, on 2-13-2015 I called Joe G[redacted] at Remedy Roofing. The
receptionist said Joe was busy but would get back with me. Since I did not
hear back from Joe or Carlos or anyone else at Remedy Roofing for over a
month, I decided to get Revdex.com involved.
Regards,
[redacted]
