On this type of specialty automobile the customer was made aware at time of purchase and also said he had previously owned one like it before that as modified as it was that emissions was not going to conformThe timing belt slipped according to the customer's mechanic( no receipts provided by him), however timing belts on the Subaru Impreza according to the manufacturer's specs aren't due until 105,This car had 58k miles on it at time of saleDue diligence and responsible consumer protection was exercised in this transactionWarranty was provided at no extra charge to insure customer's satisfaction as requested by him at time of deliveryThe automobile was functioning properly when he test drove it and bought it and for days and miles afterwardsHe is not being truthful about his actions and I'm sorry about that but I cannot cover repairs that weren't due to any condition existing at the time we sold itTherefore it his his fault and his responsibility to maintain his car as necessaryHaving provided the necessary items for the car to function properly which it did at the time of sale we are not required to provide receipts along with the car

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: That response is stating that all that work was done, but I am being told by a neutral third party mechanic that there are serious mechanical issues with the car As an FYI, the mechanic also stated that no work should be done on the car as it is not worth it It is not like he was trying to procure more business from me I understand that the owner of the dealership did some work on the car, which makes it even more suspect that he would not be aware of the nature of the condition of the engine Had I known that the engine was in that condition I would never have purchased the car Sincerely, [redacted] ***
I don't know what to do any more give me some advice because clearly you can see he dishonest and make up excusesIf the put 3k plus to do tune up timing belt should be new and everything should be the way it should but I have different auto shop saying the same thing and one auto shop said this car is not safe to drive due to gas line assemble all wrong and safety feature not work due to traction control and I'm willing to provided the auto shop numbers and all the text from the owner [redacted] if u guy needWill u recommend me hire an attorney for this?
