Worst company ever! The sales people are at the highest level of harassment. I asked for a quote on siding and was given a quote on a roof for $23,000 on a 1400 sq foot house. I explained was not going to buy a roof and the sales person continued his pitch for 2 hours! I explained that I did not want a roof (again) and they have since been calling several times a day trying to set up a second appointment that I DO NOT WANT and never wanted. This is not a negotiation strategy. I DO NOT WANT THEIR SERVICES!!!! They lie to your face and tell you why other companies are bad when they are doing the same name change game.

I have had an ongoing relationship with EuroTech/Remodel America.. They replaced all of the windows in our house several years ago. We have had several repairs over the years. The problem we have encountered is with their service, not the product.

Calls are not returned on a timely basis. Products are not repaired in a timely fashion (weeks to months after the initial contact).

Each time I have called for a service visit/repair that has gone awry, it is always the fault of the previous service manager, who is no longer there. This position has an extremely high turnover rate with this company.

I haven't had a pleasant experience with this company yet. I am disappointed with my experiences with this company and I will not recommend this company to anyone.

Review: We had 8 Windows installed in the spring of 2015, and ice formed on them. We called to have someone look at them. No one came. In the fall of 2015, a rep stopped by the house and we complained about the Windows. He said that someone would call us back to come and see the Windows. No one called. I called to complain on January 10. No one has called me back.Desired Settlement: I want them to come and fix the Windows so that ice isn't forming on them. There is moisture almost every day.

Review: I had new windows installed in march of 2013. In November 2013 when we had heavy rain, I noticed water on the inside of one of my windows. I looked up and saw that the new quarter rounds that were put in was worn in the middle and water was leaking through the top portion of the window. I checked the rest of the window and noticed that there were cracks where the caulking meets the window. I then went to check the rest of my windows and noticed another one had some discoloration along the top - similar to water damage and a small crack in the upper left corner of the window in the caulking. There was no leaking water. The third and final window did not have any damage to it that I have noticed so far. I called and notified the company (their HQs is in Illinois) and left a message with who ever answered the phone. A rep called me back and wanted to hear more about it and he stated that he could get the installer out to look at it quick and fix the caulking. I told the rep that this will not be done quickly. I want it checked over and fixed properly so that this does not happen again. So he asked that I send pictures and I did. 10 days later (I think - I have to check the email to be sure) I called him wondering why I hadn't heard back and that now I was upset for the amount of money I paid for this service. I would like to hear back as to what we will do going forward. So...on 12-6-13 the installer came out around 4:30 pm and looked at things from the inside and said something about the siding and that he could do it as long as it was okay with the condo association. I spoke with the [redacted] of my building to see who I had to talk to about the siding issue and she said that we are responsible for our own buildings and they can do the work they need to do so long as it is not an inconvenience to us or further problems occur. So I called the installer Friday evening and informed him of this and he said that he would talk to the people in the office on Monday when they open. I said okay. So, the rep called back on 12-9-13 and left a message and said that since they didn't do anything with the siding originally they can't do it unless I pay the installer or find someone else outside of them to do it. Now I am stuck with a damaged window - inside and out - possibly all 3 of them from a crappy installation job.Desired Settlement: I want things removed/replaced/redone if it needs to be. I want it done RIGHT.

Our company has been in contact or tried to contact Ms. [redacted] 5 separate times between 11-18-2013 and 12-9-2013 not including emails between us and the client.

We have scheduled the service for 12-14-2013 weather permitting. I'm not sure why Ms. [redacted] filed a complaint. We have been following up with her every few days to fix this issue.

We apologize for her inconvenience.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I do find that the initial work was not done properly considering the current situation. I would like it fixed properly even it means having to re-do everything all over. I do appreciate their efforts in trying to resolve this situation, but I do not understand why only the windows were replaced and nothing else - flashing, insulation, etc. To my knowledge this is standard to do with ANY window installation new or old. As a consumer I rely on the professionals to do the accurate work. After all this is what they get paid to do. I feel that it should have been addressed initially to prevent the current situation from happening.

Review: Remodel America, Inc. completed construction on my home on 10/16/2013. The waste management dumpster that was placed on the east side of my home was not picked up on that date. In speaking with [redacted] on 10/18/2013 from waste management, I was informed that the dumpster was too heavy and would have to be off loaded to reduce the weight so that it could be moved. The dumpster was initially requested by Remodel America. I inquired of [redacted] if Remodel America had been notified about the weight concern of the dumpster and he stated that he would call the company and inform them. I then called the sanitation department of Milwaukee and requested their assistance because the dumpster has a terrible odor and is a public health concern and the collecting waste just continues to grow. I received an email message on 10/19/2013 from [redacted], (###-###-####) who is the vice president of the company. In the message he stated that Remodel America was not going to pay any additional funds to have the dumpster removed. My thought is that if the dumpster had been removed in a timely manner it would not have been overloaded as it is today. Individuals in the neighborhood have continued to bring contents and place it in front of the dumpster. The dumpster has become an accident waiting to happen for the individuals driving near my home.Desired Settlement: I do not feel that it is unreasonable for Remodel America to have the dumpster removed from my home immediately because it is their responsibility to do so. [redacted] is the vice president of the company and this behavior is not what I would expect from the V.P. of a company. [redacted] should have attended to the dumpster with regard to good customer service. Individuals in the community are still placing contents in front of the dumpster. This matter needs to get better not worse.

Thank you

Response:

The dumpsters were removed on Oct. 22nd. They would have been removed in a timely manner if local residents had NOT OVERFILLED THE DUMPSTER WITH DEBRIS. Our company called Waste Mgt. on time for the pick up.

It was not able to be picked up initially because of no fault of the company. The homeowner said there was a smell but we put no waste in but construction materials. These have not smell it was only the excess material that the neihboors put in that caused all the problemsl.
