I have done work for this customer for close too 5 years now. He has always been happy with the work done n the past and I believe he has even given me positive feedback in the past. Recently he approved me asking me to fix his peeling deck. My recommendation was to prep and stain the entire...

I gave him a price to do the job and his response was that it was more money  you than he could afford right now.He then asked me to stain only the peeling areas on the decking Boards and that eventually the color would blend and be less noticeable.he was well aware of the imperfections that would result and that it was not recommendation.He has a renters schedule which he asked me to work around and was also forced to work around the weather. In helping him with making improvements to the stain and getting it done the day renters arrived and for substantially less cost than quoted I seem to have this Individual attempting to tarnish my reputation.Bottom line the contractor would get the bad wrap here  for trying to work with a customer's  budget and get it done on time for them. Doesn't seem the least bit fair, customer's like that should have a rating themselves, how many customers they reviewed and what type of feedback they are leaving
