Review: BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY and the [redacted]. If I could give them a zero I would. Believe me a 1 is way to generous with what I have experienced these past weeks. He is absolutely the worst, very unprofessional, rude, disrespectful and a complete scam artist. He quoted one price over the phone, when we explained to his wife prior to his arrival he would have to go through the insurance company to get paid, they didn't have a problem and quoted us a price of $250 to board up a broken deck door and was willing to working with the insurance company to get paid. Once my insurance company received the bill, I completely understood why he didn't mind with working with the insurance company directly because he billed my insurance company an additional $500, without even telling us, giving us an explanation to why the price increased, didn't want to give an explanation and told us, "his price is his price, pay him his money". He has been demanding us to pay him the difference because the insurance company only paid him $250 and even told us if we don't pay him, he is going to put a lien on the house we don't even own, only rent. He has threaten my landlord too, jeopardizing our livelihood and it's been a total disaster ever contacting this company at all. He has been harassing us for money he is not entitled to because it was never discussed. PLEASE NOTE: when he is dealing with your insurance company directly, he bills them whatever he feels, and will try to make you pay the difference if they don't cover and will demand from you to pay the difference, whatever price he wants to configure without notifying you he will do and sees nothing wrong with not letting his consumer know about a price increase prior to doing the work.When explained he can't just bill insurance company for what he feels, his response was this is the bill pay me, what I'm owed that's it. He couldn't even justify how boarding up a door added up to $750 when he told us in order to board up the door up was $250, even spoke to the insurance company on the phone, told them it was $250 but then charge $750. Who would ever agree to pay for 2 pieces of ply wood and some nails when you can get from home depot for less than $100. If you ever pay him, make sure it's in cash and don't ever let him have access to your insurance company info or claim #, you too could be taken for his joy ride of extortion too. I have never experienced a company who is so called professional harass and threaten consumers as much as he does through email, phone calls and text messages. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE TO HIM OR HIS COMPANY. I couldn't even let him complete the job and actually had to fire him because of his unprofessional, money demanding and rude practices. I hired him based on the ratings of [redacted] and I should have did more research on him and his company before even letting him enter my home.Desired Settlement: For him to stop contacting us and keep the $250 he was already paid since that was the original agreement and stop harassing us for additional money he is not entitled to.
