I am rejecting this response because: The replaced floor is the same floor it is a vinyl floor like the original one installedI did not harass Tom, but he did not return my callsThe flooring is the same that ***'s sells and was reinstalled by the ***'s installersI am sorry that Tom can offer no solution to this issueI will not recommend him for future jobsI hired him to do the job and he has not offered any reasonable solution to my additional expense. I am not pleased that I hired him in good faith and the issue should be resolved with some assistance from Tom.

had notice that the some of the butt seams were rising. I informed the customer of this and stated I thought the product was defected and I would contact the supplier and make a warranty claim for him. after weeks of calling and setting up appointments with them in which they canceled on two occasions  they finally came out to inspect the flooring. in the meantime he was constantly harassing me on a daily basic with email;s texts and phone messages each time I explain the situation to him. this was his behavior thru the whole project of all the work we did. anyway the supplier came out and  they assumed with out any investigation that the flooring was installed with out the proper gap along the walls. they assumed this with out removing any shoe moldings to verify there conclusions. they then stated to the customer they would replace the flooring. why ? because they knew it was defected of course. the customer then contacted me with there response. at this time I told the customer that im positive that I did install it with the proper gap. since the customer was believing their story I reassured the customer that if the floor was installed improperly that I would take care of it. I suggested to the him that we get a third party inspector to look at the flooring to determine if it was installed wrong. he refused this suggestion and stated that he wanted to upgrade his flooring to wood that he did not like the vinyl and stated he would take care of it. were sorry that he picked out a flooring that was inferior over wood substrate due to the thinness of the flooring and the very small tongue and grove interlocking groves that give to the wood and rises at the butt seams. I further investigated with some employees of the supplier and they had told me they are getting a lot of complaints about this same problem. furthermore I have installed this flooring on a few other jobs and the floors installed over concrete have no problems all the floors installed over wood have the same issue. I have since stop using this flooring and supplier. I did everything I could to help resolve this issue with the customer but his impatience to follow thru with a complete investigation and just wanting to get the floor replaced and upgraded to wood he made those decisions on his own and stated on several occasions that he would handle it on his own in which he did.
