As both a CEO and a woman, I would never tolerate such disrespectful language or behavior on any job siteI was never informed of such issues while the project was taking place, nor were any of my staffWhile I am investigating these allegations further, it is strange that we are hearing about these accusations almost four months after the project was completedRenaissance Development was not fired from this projectWe completed the scope of work and the contract in its entirety After the client inquired about the cost of additional work and an estimate was provided, the condo association decided not to have the additional work completedI deeply regret that this client continues to foster such negative feelingsIn the end, we fulfilled all of our contractual obligations and were paid in fullAt this point, there is nothing further we can do aside from investigating these after-the-fact allegations

I am writing to respond to *** ***'s complaint against Renaissance Development, which is erroneous, exaggerated, and essentially untrueI have attached an email from Mr*** which is emblematic of his patronizing, demeaning, and unprofessional interaction with our company, which has been typical
since the beginning of the project we completed in OctoberHis allegation of conspiracy is outrageous, unfounded, and falseHe is an anomaly amongst the hundreds, if not thousands, of our satisfied clientsWe would not have stayed in business for almost thirteen years if Mr***'s claims were remotely true

I am rejecting this response because:I really am puzzled at how MsW*** has refused to apologize as of yet for her staff and her attitudes and how the handled our business transaction When I posted my initial complaint, she immediately attacked me, pasting one of my emails up online like it was going to make me ashamed or stop pursuing justice and and apology So, given that MsW*** has attacked me personally and has yet to apologize, I will continue to provide evidence of her and her staff's malfeasance on my property.1) I was responsible for hiring MsW***...I provided her company name and information to my neighbor who was interviewing companiesI told him that I had a preference for MsW*** After meeting a member of MsW***'s staff, my neighbor did not like the guy and thought he was rude and did not treat him with respect I had to beg my neighbor to reconsider and pushed them to use MsW*** and I said, "She does good work, but she has no idea how to run a business or operationalize very well."2) I wanted to get the whole house down so I asked for a proposal to finish the remaining wall Somewhere, somehow, and I am not sure what happened, MsW*** somehow thought I was conspiring against my neighbors so she let them know I had asked for a proposal, at which time they were upset with me Ms W*** forgot, that I brought her in...and then she went against me---to my neighbors who thought they did a horrible job and did not want to continue to use them 3) During the job, workers were singing songs in Spanish derogatory to women and harassed my housekeeper in front of her husband I called Ms, W*** times and left messages, and no response I send her 3-emails asking her to contact me I one time screamed into her voicemail, "What they hell is wrong with you that you will not call me back."4) Doing the job, their workers damaged my neighbors tree, killing branches Instead of them taking care of it, they made me call the tree service and arrange it I kept telling them, I think this is something you should be doing since you killed the branches but no....then when I called to get it paid, "they said you need to write us an email exactly where the damage occurred and how you know it was us." Just ridiculous customer service. So, again I repeat that MsW*** does ok work, but she has no idea how to run a business or manage customer service effectively Just because you know historic preservation, does not make you a good business person

While I am investigating these allegations further, it is strange that we are hearing about these accusations almost four months after the project was completed. Renaissance Development was not fired from this project. We completed the scope of work and the contract in its entirety.  After the client inquired about the cost of additional work and an estimate was provided, the condo association decided not to have the additional work completed. I deeply regret that this client continues to foster such negative feelings. In the end, we fulfilled all of our contractual obligations and were paid in full. At this point, there is nothing further we can do aside from investigating these after-the-fact allegations.
