In response to the complaint filed by *** * ***:After nearly forty years in the floral industry, have received only minor complaints on floral orders, andnothing of the magnitude alleged by Ms*** - her allegations are unfounded, totally misrepresent theproduct and services provided, and
her accusations are totally without meritShe received a productdescription and price quotation (which she adjusted several times to reduce costs) and agreed to theflower selections and design stylesThe flowers were of the freshest quality - wholesale invoices of thematerials used document this factThe descriptions and pictures provided by Ms*** were followedmeticulously, (our pre-wedding photos of the flowers document this fact), Both allegations arecompletely unfounded and utterly false, if anything our design staff tried to enhance the arrangementsgiven the budgetary restraints and price changesSeveral price adjustments were made to the originalorder reducing the costs of the table centerpieces from to per table, an incredibly low pricefor bouquets consisting of hydrangeas, roses, gypsophila, wax flower, ivory lilies, assorted greenery andribbonThis selection of flowers matches the description on the original order and was a substantialvalue for $per tableThere were no pictures of the centerpieces, but the arrangements were tofollow the theme of the wedding - which they did IThe designs in the photographs she provided were followed meticulously, given the prices indicated(again, she requested that the price of the bride's maid's bouquets be lowered)The floral material wasnot of inferior quality - as she suggests - and matched the descriptions specified in the estimate and thepictures she providedThe bride's bouquet was in fact cascading as shown in the picture provided.There were no miscellaneous flowers, rather as shown in the photos: miniature ivory calla lilies,stephanotis, white and ivory roses, wax flower, plumose, and spring-rye fernsBlush satin ribbon loops(neither dingy or frayed) were added to accent the flowersNearly two hours of design time wasinvested into the brides bouquetMany of the flowers were hand wired and wrapped, not "cobbledtogether" as she indicatesSimilarly, the bride's maid's bouquets matched the pictures provided and asdescribed in the estimateAgain, given the budgetary restraints of her order, we lowered the originalprice quoted from $to $per bouquet, to accommodate her requestsWe still supplied asuperior product, large and artistically designedHer allegation of "overlooked details" is not supportedby either the written estimate or photographs: no pearl beads appear in either.Corsages and boutonnieres exceeded costs, yet were designed to reflect the theme of the girl'sbouquets (see estimate descriptions)I myself, pinned on the groomsmen's boutonnieres and they didnot "droop noticeably".The rose petals to be strewn on the walkway were ordered the day before the wedding, and in placingthis order at the 11"' hour Ms*** was informed that multiple colors of rose petals would be usednot all ivory, as she indicatesThe length of the walkway to be decorated was far longer than indicatedon the small cellphone photo provided, and a staff member returned to the flower shop to retrievemore petals - both fresh and dry - to cover the space indicatedBudget issues, again were a concern, asshe eliminated pergola decorations and aisLe runner originally included in her wedding orderThe fundsshe allocated to achieve a last-minute effect were in no way sufficient to cover costsWe did the bestwe could with the materials available.Ms*** allegations concerning flower quality and "deplorable" customer service, is again, unfounded,I met with the bride and associated members of the wedding party on four separate occasions prior tothe wedding to make certain we were working together regarding both design and cost, I made thenecessary adjustments on a written estimate and provided her a copy months before the weddingIarrived punctually to deliver the flowers (even though the girls and photographer were not assembledaccording to the time Ms*** specified), and pinned on boutonnieres - even though I had to trackdown ushers and relatives in various hotel roomsFlower arrangements were delivered on time,s werethe toss bouquet and petals for the aisleI returned to the hotel to make a final check on flowers andlast minute adjustments and even slipped the mother's corsage on her wrist, which she indicated "waslovely".No florist would have been as accommodating with product, design, cost, or service as RenaissanceFloral GalleryI have the appropriate invoices, estimate adjustments, photographs, and staff to counterthe gross exaggerations of Ms*** complaintsShe has threatened to use social media to mydetriment, and negative comments have already been posted online.Initially, Ms*** single complaint was about the rose petals strewn along the aisle - there seemed tobe no other issues mentioned in my phone conversation with her after the weddingAt that time, Ioffered to refund half the price of the rose petals ordered the day before the weddingShe then decidedto make further allegations/complaints against Renaissance Floral Gallery.I stand by the quality, service, and integrity of Renaissance Floral Gallery for this and all floral contracts.Regards,Kenneth CH***, Ph.D.Renaissance Floral

For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I have attached several photos that confirm my claimThe pictures on the left are the pictures that were physically given to Ken to use to and the pictures on the right are what I was givenNot ONE flower I was given was ever even mentioned in our agreementHe keeps talking about my budget being too low, but he adjusted his prices to match wegmans prices as that's who we were going to originally use as a floristI am more than disappointed with what was delivered on my wedding dayIt's completely unacceptable!
