I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# [redacted], and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:To whom it may concern,I believe that the Joe Rodeo watch that was sold to me to be a "Frankenstien" watch, and not a new watch.It did not come in box nor have a letter of authenticity, waranty, intructions or a manual of any sort. While I was wearing it on the day I purchased it the watch literally fell off my wrist. 5 pins were coming out of the wrist band.Hardly a new watch. Also if I wear the watch and it rains, water gets into it. If I wear the watch and wash my hands, water gets into it. Hardly a water resistant watch. The watch has not been mishandled in any way shape or form. At no time was the setting crown touched or adjusted in anyway by myself. The watch has not been submerged in water. Every time water gets into the watch, it stops working. I have taken the watch back to them for repairs twice and water still gets in. They are incapable of fixing the watch. At this point, I want them to assume responsibility and to give me a total refund for $800. I have proof of everything I have stated. Original receipt, receipt for repairs and pictures of the watch with water in it.The above statements are true. Thank you,[redacted]

When he bought the watch, it was new and was working perfectly. Unfortunately, he got water inside the watch which damaged its mechanism. At this point, we can only help him with the repair. Sorry, we cannot issue a refund according to our store policy that is written on every customer receipt as well as on a sign posted by the checkout counter. We only accept exchanges in original new condition within 7 days of purchase with store receipt.
The Joe Rodeo diamond watch was sold NEW and not refurbished! It has a 12 month manufacture's Warranty "against all manufacturing defects". It is written "water resistant" on the back casing of the watch. However, the warranty does not cover damages caused by mishandling of the watch. When the...
customer brought the watch in, there was moisture on the inside of the crystal. The setting crown must have been open while being in contact with water or the watch was completely submerged in water. Water resistant doesn't mean water proof. As a courtesy, we dried and cleaned the watch and replaced the gasket at no charge. Before allowing water to get on the watch, customer has to read manual. The watch can be fixed, but there will be a charge. He has the option of sending the watch directly to the manufacturer or we can have it fixed for him.
