Review: After hurricane sandy destroyed our home, we were finishing up the fixing of the house and ordered custom made furniture from [redacted] at RENAISSANCE OF V.I. HOME CORP. the owner. Prior to requesting his services I a location of one of his installation to check the quality of his work and his ability to build custom furniture. I was satisfied and after that we signed a contract with him for six custom furniture pieces with a 50 % deposit and six week time limit to complete. We paid the deposit of $4,000.00 and patiently waited for the final completion of our project after 10 months of living without a home after it was damaged with the hurricane. Closer to the due date Valery start bringing some parts from the furniture, after he partially set up some of the pieces he disappeared for couple of weeks. When I started calling him he start telling that he is having some issues with his workers and to give him another couple weeks. Thi is 8 weeks after the deposit was provided. After couple weeks I started calling him again and he finally came to finish our project. However, I noticed that quality was completly different from the work that he did at his previous project. When one of the pieces was ready, I was in shock, the doors were not closing properly, doors and drawers were not in level and after opening and closing a couple of times it start falling apart completly. I told him that he showed me a completly different quality of work and I showed him that it is falling apart. He explained to me that the furniture that he showed me before was done by different worker and the one who was doing mine he has a problem with now. I asked him to fix it and he again disappeared for a couple of months. It is very poor quality, not straight and falling apart. He was trying to get the balance after I told him that I don't order this nightmare and ask him to take it back and give me a refund. He disappear and stopped answering his phone.
