We hired John *** through Renaissance Renovations to complete trim and soffit work for our porch to prevent water damage. The work was done in May 2017. We could tell that the work did not look right, and definitely knew it was not installed correctly after it rained for the first time since having the work done. Every time it rains, water runs under the trim and pours out from under the trim in several locations. We contacted John to fix the work back in July 2017, and he assured us that he would correct the issue and complete this job. We have had no results in getting him to fix this for us, and now have water damage to our roof. My last communication from him was on October 18, 2017 assuring us again that this would be taken care of. It has not been and now it is the end of November.

Please be advised that I represent Renaissance Renovations, the company to whom you sent the complaint ID 12509902. It is my understanding in speaking with my client that a third party, not Renaissance Renovations, was contracted to do the trim and soffit work. Furthermore, it is my understanding that the third party provided did not complete the job to Ms. Mc *** satisfaction and that they have since contacted someone else to do the repair. My client has indicated that they will refund the monies paid to him by the Mc*** by January 31, 2018. I will supply a copy of that check to you upon request.
