Rend Lake Marina Inc.

Mr. [redacted] had reserved a pontoon boat on Sunday, August 20, 2017.  As usual on weekends, we are booked and there is a waiting list.  On this specific day there were 3 different people on the waiting list.  We called Mr. [redacted] 3 different times that morning.  He called back around...

noon and said he did not want the boat.  We called the folks on the waiting list and it was too late in the day for them to change their plans for the day.  We tried to rent the boat out but were unsuccessful because of the time. As a result we charged his card.  We are open 7 days a week 8-5.  Ii should not have been difficult for him to call us ahead of time, cancel the boat, and avoid this situation.  Rend Lake Marina is not in business to take advantage of anyone.  Our rentals boats are in high demand especially on weekends.  We are a seasonal business and  depend on our rental boats as a source of income.  We regret to have this situation but again, we are not hard to reach and feel that if Mr. [redacted] had made a reasonable attempt to reach us this would have been a problem.
