Company and owner unprofessional, unreliable and should not be in businessSpent over $5,to install new windowsOwner came to my home in November to measure the windows although the salesman had already taken the measurements At that time, I showed the owner, Jim L***, the windows that had been installed about a year earlier by a different installer, that had been done perfectly and requested that the new windows be done to match the that I had shown him Of course that didn't happenU-shaped, unfinished window stops were installed that now require painting An additional window stop was installed along the bottom of the window, which was not done with the former installation That resulted in my not being able to open or close my vertical blindsThat strip then had to be removed causing all kinds of damage to the sills and the wet caulking/groutingEvening set in, the installer wasn't happy and I ended up with a really poor grouting job, bllinds that don't open and close properly, damaged window sills, unpainted wood stops and a hole in one of my screens which I didn't see until the following morningI called the company to report on all that was unsatisfactory with the installationI was told that a new screen would be ordered, the window stops and sills would be painted, the caulking redoneAs it now stands, months later, nothing has been doneI was told that the screen had come in but they had no one to install itThe calls to the office are to no availI finally reached someone in the office who told me that they had no service people to do the repair work necessaryTHEY HAD ALL QUITI asked to at least have the screen shippedNow they no longer seem to be aware that they have the screenMy calls are not being answered as they recognize my name and numberIt has been a nightmare Over $5,spent, with "lifetime warrantee" written on the contract, and no attempt to rectify any of the damages and poor workmanshipOwner is nowhere to be seen Shame on this company and its owner, Jim L [redacted]

Owner came to my home in November to measure the windows although the salesman had already taken the measurements. At that time, I showed the owner, Jim L[redacted], the 2 windows that had been installed about a year earlier by a different installer, that had been done perfectly and requested that the new windows be done to match the 2 that I had shown him. Of course that didn't happen. U-shaped, unfinished window stops were installed that now require painting. An additional window stop was installed along the bottom of the window, which was not done with the former installation That resulted in my not being able to open or close my vertical blinds. Now they no longer seem to be aware that they have the screen. My calls are not being answered as they recognize my name and number. It has been a nightmare. Over $5,000 spent, with "lifetime warrantee" written on the contract, and no attempt to rectify any of the damages and poor workmanship. Owner is nowhere to be seen. Review: My contract with ReNew Windows and Siding on 3/16/2013 and it is now 6/6/2013 and he won't respond as to when he will do the work, requested refund

The contract with ReNew Windows and Siding LLC was signed on 3/16/2013 and the deposit cleared on 4/5/2013. Since then he has had my money ($4,166) and has not responded to my emails/phone calls to give a reasonable time on when he's coming out to remodel my bathroom. He claims I delayed the project by a month because my deposit didnt clear until 4/5 and that I requested a change that wasnt resolved until 4/12/2013. And even after I gave him that month leeway he still is not following through with his contractual obligations. I've since complained to BJ's who subcontracted them and they reached out to him after several attempts. After a few weeks of trying to get him to return a phone call or email he responds 5/17 and says he'll call the following week to put us on the install schedule, AND OF COURSE THAT NEVER HAPPENED! (At this time he is beyond the 4-6 weeks timeline that was given to us and the non-existent communication doesn't help) The contract said that the work should have been completed on or around 5/1 and it is now 6/5 and not a peep from him. I have requested a full refund from this extremely unprofessional and inconsiderate business and do no want them to set one foot on my property to say that they're going to do any work at this point. It is more than 2 months since he's had my money and he ([redacted], owner of ReNEW) doesn't have the courtesy to return corespondences and phone calls nor does the the organization have the capacity to set up an efficient install schedule. The guy was unprofessional the minute he walked into my house. After completing his final measurements on 4/6/2013 he makes the statement "Thank you for your business and my wife thanks you and my ex wife thanks you". Also, the sales guy that came out gave misinformation on the products. when I was going to try to switch to another product the sales guy said it would be more money, but when he came and showed the product in my house he said that the actual item that I chose intitially was the more expensive item because it had gloss. (Bunch of bolonga from these people). So they initially tell me another product is cheaper than the one I wanted and when I wanted to switch to the cheaper product, it somehow became more expensive. I ended telling them to leave the order as is on 4/12/2013. I'm highly dissatisfied with the sales, organization, responsiveness and professionalism of this company. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worse enemy. Doing a remodeling project is stressful enough, we shouldn't have to add sheisty contractors to the mix to make it even more stressful. I should have done my homework on him first but felt a little comfort in going with them because they were subcontracting through BJs, so somehow I thought I would be getting a service for my money. (Go figure) I also wouldn't recommend anyone to go with a subcontractor from BJs, they're background checks obviously are not extensive enough and they don't really deal with complaints very well in their customer resolutions department. Keep ReNew Windows and Siding out of your house and do your homework on this joker!Desired Settlement: I am seeking a full refund of my deposit of $4,166 dollars due to breach of our contract.
