Last summer I purchased an expensive solar system After much communication, it is still not functioning I purchased a 16-panel solar system in summer from Renewable Energy It was installed With no difference in my bills, I called, and learned that it had never been properly connected They sent people out, and the problems were supposed to have been corrected by December I had my first full bill for January 2016and there is absolutely no difference from January 2015, from which I judge that there is still no connection
Panel credit for $4,and SREC's of over $4,not be given to us We purchased solar panels I did a cost analysis on this based on the promise of SREC's and Panel rebates The value of these was $8, I tried to find out about the SREC's and was told they would only speak to my husbandDespite my signing the contract and being the one to pay for it After months of back and forth he finds out that we will not be getting our SREC's, nor will we be getting the Panel rebates So we are losing $8, There is also the issue that we were told that our energy savings would amount to $a year It appears that we may not produce enough energy to save about 2/or $in a year We had hoped to recover our costs in years, but with the loss of the SREC's and solar panel rebate and the underperformance of these panels it will be more like years The panels are only expected to last years A loss Not to mention the headaches of not getting one honest answer

I like to share my good experience with having Solar Panel on the roof of my home about a month or so The rep came to my home explain in every day language having solar panels and selling the electric power back to BGE They were very helpful with all the paperwork to be fill out to get the Maryland local and state grants Any time I had a question they were there
When it was time for the final inspection the Rep came out and waited about hour until BGE came I would recommend that you give Renewable Energy call to see how they can help you!

On June 2, Renewable was scheduled to install an extra kilowatts solar panel and a backup battery pack systemThe Solar panel added but the battery pack was the setup because the person that suppose to set it up was not there and would not be able to it that daySo I had to reschedule and wait a week laterNot only that but my additional kilowatts solar panel was disconnectedHe came a week later and still was not able to complete the work and informed my wife that he was coming back the next backHe didn't show up the next day and we didn't even receive a call next day from anyoneWhen we call the office, their didn't know what was going on and then informed that he can't make it out until following weekSo it's going on weeks that my solar is discounted and lost time from workI ask can he come after pm and I was told no, unacceptable for repeated customer

On 8/3/2015, the solar and batteries when out, no power and batteries totally depleted From 8\to 8\no solar The company put us back to BGE and bypass the batteries Repair done on 8/18/after net meter was installed on 8/7/
On 1/12/Batteries lights in warning mode (RED) and not charging On 1/19/
