Renewit was contracted to perform a bathroom remodel with *** *** dated 05/25/of *** *** DrLancaster, OH. Upon removal of Tub/shower, Vanity and wall board it was discovered that multiple leaks from supply lines, drain lines and vent stack were apparent and had probably gone on
unnoticed for years due to the rotten sill plate and corroded plumbing behind wall. Work was stopped at this point, *** *** was shown the various leaks and additional work needing done, multiple pictures taken, a detailed estimate to repair plumbing system created and subsequent "Modification for Goods & Services" for the amount of $4,was signed and dated on 08/13/16.Upon *** ***'s request I did send Mr*** an itemized list of actual hours of work performed as well as materials. Mr*** also requested an additional walk through of completed job which we promptly obliged. All workmanship was verbally approved by Mr*** as well as *** ***. Orginal Contract amount has been paid. But the Additional work for the amount of $4,is delinquent and we are in the process of seeking legal remedies

There are concerns with the itemized list sent for the contract addendum of approximately dollarsWhen I advised I was reaching out for opinions of the itemization, there was no cooperation from the business other than paying the exact amount requestedIn addition to my grandmother not understanding the cost portion of the addendum signed, one of the many red flags I see with the itemized list is a helper being billed at dollars per hourAlso there is no separation of who did plumbing work are actual plumberspeople in an 8x(or smaller) bathroom at the same time all being billed at dollars per hour is very alarmingAnother example in the billing is my grandmother being billed for drywall being torn out for plumbingThe removal of drywall was part of the original remodelIt appears people at dollars an hour was charged for drywall removalNot to mention boxes of rubber gloves at per box charged as materialsAnother cause for concern are court records listing MrR*** as defendant in several civil cases through FAIRFIELD County Municipal Court and FAIRFIELD County Common pleas courtThis does not appear to be an honest businessmanThere still has not been an itemized list of the original contractI'm sure there will be alarming things discovered in that itemization as well if it ever surfaces
