We are always extremely disappointed that a customer of ours feels that they didn’t receive the service that they valuedOn November 14, [redacted] brought her 4Runner[173,096] to have it diagnosed with having the alternator inspected with visible leaks over the alternator[RO#139593]The customer was given an estimate of $in which it would go to the repairs needed for the vehicleThe vehicle was inspected and diagnosed to having a power steering line blown and pouring fluid all over the vehicleThe vehicle also had rear axle seals leaking all over the e-shoesThe technician completed his multi-point inspection and reported back to the Service WriterThe Service Writer notified the customer that we recommend to start by replacing the power steering line in which was blown and have the driver side engine bay cleaned for further inspectionThe customer respectfully declined to have the repairs completedTansky Sawmill Toyota understands the expense that a vehicle may occur and also the right for a customer to get a second opinionWe feel the vehicle was diagnosed correctly and a refund is not justified at this timeWe would offer to the customer to have the vehicle re-inspected and diagnosed at no charge with the customer present so we could describe and explain on how we came to our diagnosisIf you need any further information please contact me at your convenience.Mark EMathewsService ManagerTansky Sawmill Toyotaw-614-766-5400c-614-506-

To whom it may concern: after an internal investigation of the matter at hand, we have come up with options we would like to propose as solutionsI have written a note directly to the cusTOMER ***er that outlines what we hope will satisfy her demands.Dear Mrs [redacted] *My name is [redacted] [redacted] of Tansky Sawmill Toyota in DublinI am responding to Revdex.com complaint # [redacted] First, I want to apologize for what sounds like a hectic buying experience and a confusing sales process on our endThank you for taking the time to prepare such a thoughtful, detailed summary of your experienceI've communicated your concerns with [redacted] , [redacted] and with [redacted] [redacted] , I'd like to propose three options to you and [redacted] to remedy your concerns.The first option is for us to switch you into a RavLE at the advertised lease price (at the time of our original purchase) of $per monthThe RavLE does not come with all of the same features as your current vehicle (the RavXLE)So, I would recommend you take the LE on a test drive to carefully consider this optionShould you choose to take the LE we will still need to "roll in" your negative equity of $4,As you know, this amount is the net balance of your actual negative equity of $6,less the $2,you put downThe monthly amount you will pay to roll in the negative equity is $($4,divided by months) PLUS the interest rate that will be applied by the lending institution we use A Finance Manager will review the lending details and the exact payment amount at the time you come in.The second option is for you to keep your current Rav4, and as suggested earlier by [redacted] with whom you spoke over the phone), we will reduce your payment by $per monthThe dealership is making this offer as a gesture of goodwill.The third option is for you to return the RavXLE to the dealership and take back your Kia Soul trade We have not begun any reconditioning on the car and it is being stored in our body shopWe can still do this and will not charge you for use of the RavXLE, nor any of the paperworkIf you choose this option, please let us know by Tuesday, December 16, I would also very much appreciate if you could keep the mileage on the RavXLE low as we will need to restock it and try to sell it againI cannot express how deeply disappointed I am that you had a bad experience with usWe are working very hard at this dealership to try to create something new, different and better in the automotive spaceOur goal is to be helpful, friendly and transparentOur policy is to do the exact opposite of what you experiencedWe do not bait and switchWe have a specific number of vehicles that are advertised and sold at a reduced price simply so that we can sell more unitsOur sales people are not paid on a commission based on the selling price of the vehicle; they are paid based on unitsI do not believe [redacted] was trying to dupe you into a higher priced choiceI believe, instead, that he was distracted by his other customers and was carelessHe did not follow our sales process and protocolsRegardless, we let you down and we will make it right.When you decide what you want to do feel free to contact me directly at J [redacted] @Tansky.com, or by calling the store and asking for me

The vehicle was inspected and diagnosed to having a power steering line blown and pouring fluid all over the vehicle. The vehicle also had rear axle seals leaking all over the e-shoes.
