My year old mother called Graham Heating and Air Conditioning to perform a simple tuneup on her fairly new air contiioning system Shortly after arriving, the man told her the system needed $of work doneHe said there was mold and that it needed other work and partsThere was nothing wrong at all with the systemIt was functioning properlyWhile the employee was still there, my mom called my sister who lives in NJ and helps to run a very large heating and ac supply companyShe immediately smelled a skunk and had my mother put the man on the phoneHe immediately attempted to talk over my sister's head, but it did not work as she is more knowledgeable about the system than he isShe asked him to fax or send her a complete breakdown of the work neededHe fumbled around and said something to the effect of he would have to do that back at the officeNeedless to say, she never received anything from themMy sister then reccommended to my mother that she have the company that my sister had install the system come outThey came out and verified that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the systemNo Mold, no problems what so everThe filter didn't even require changingI have found many similar stories on line about this companyThey should be investigated for preying on the elderly as this is a Felony in the State of FLThey should not be allowed to scam honest people out of their money with work that is not neededThis was a black and white case of trying to defraud an elderly personNo gray area at all
We purchased a furnace air conditioner unit from Graham a heating in LargoIt is three years oldwhen arrived in Florida this winter, the air would not workWe called them because it was under warrantyWhen they came out they said the motor was brokenThe warranty did not cover the cost of replacement which was dollars My husband purchased a maintenance policy for dollarsNow he said it covered everything They called and said it was time for a tune up, ok it's free right, wrong.When they came out they said they found mold in the coilsNow the service call is covered but getting the mold out is notNow another dollars plus we need a uv light to keep it out, only 1,dollarsThey said the filter they installed with the unit is not very good we should go to Lowes to purchase a better oneColony Cove is a and older community please help us get the words out about thisCompany
