Our company ([redacted]) purchased a motherboard from 5 pixels through their [redacted] sales division on February 22nd, 2013, for the exact sum of $150.00 including shipping. The computer part in question was sold with an expressed thirty day warranty against failure. Upon arrival part was passed along to one of our repair technicians to replace a known failing motherboard in one of our client's machines. It was at this time that we found the replacement motherboard was defective and did not work at all.Very important to note that at that moment in time 5 Pixels was using the [redacted] user ID "laptopsicle". Shortly after this whole affair went sour they changed their user ID name to "laptopicicle". Moving on, we promptly contacted 5 Pixels through [redacted] regarding the defective item on February 26th which went without response, and then once more on March 1st, to which a prompt and courteous response was received, a return approval given and a return address provided. Due to staffing schedules on our end four days would pass before the item was shipped back. We sent the motherboard to the provided address via [redacted]; tracking number: [redacted].As the weeks began to pass I made several attempts to contact the seller through [redacted], e-mail, and eventually by phone. But unfortunately [redacted] 45-day cut off had passed by and we could no longer get [redacted] or [redacted] to force a refund by that point in time. [redacted] did however provide us with the registered account information for laptopicicle, which all lead to 5 Pixel and matched the information on the [redacted] transaction.Long story short. 5 Pixel Studios denies they sell on [redacted], despite both [redacted] & [redacted] accounts being tethered to their "[redacted]" e-mail address and the registered phone number being the same as the public telephone number given on their website. I did confirm that the name associated with their accounts "[redacted]" does work at 5 Pixels Studios in an unknown capacity. More information available.Product_Or_Service: Toshiba Satellite MotherboardDesired SettlementAt this point we simply want a refund.

Under delivered a simple retail e-commerce site. It didn't function properly, time frame not met, asked for a partial refund and was threatened. [redacted] is the gentleman I was working within Reno Web Design Company - 5 Pixels Studio. He asked me to pay $1800 up front even though the contract stated $900 now and $900 upon completion. My check of $1800 (paid to them)cleared my account on March 25, 2013. I went to this company for a typical e-commerce site with the following capabilities.(this is cut and pasted directly from our e-contract)March 18, 2013This contract is to confirm our understanding of the terms and objectives of our engagement and the nature and limitations of the services we will provide. Remainder in theamount of $900 is due upon work completion. Most consulting projects involve client deliverables, such asfeedback, data, content, samples or other items necessary forus to perform the services specified in this proposal. You agree to provide those materials prior to project start date orin a timely manner when requested, to ensure that we have theability to complete and deliver your project on time. What I ended up with was an unfinished site, and a string of emails detailing the problems in the site. I made a comprehensive list of discrepancies in the site which was not fully addressed, this was sent on Nov 20th 2013. I pursued this company to fix the errors and it was never done. (I tried to cut and paste the list of all the problems but overran the text box character limit.) I finally asked for a refund on AUG 10, 2014 and was threatened to be "punished" by this individual for asking for a refund. Not only is this unprofessional I believe it borders on criminal. I am an individual with limited funds and was not financially able to invest more money into the website, therefore I was unable to get another website made from somebody else. A business's website is an integral part of an e-commerce site and the website I paid for did not do what it was promised me to do and my business suffered as a result. This business currently has an Grade of "F" in your system. I should have checked here first before using this company to build my site. I will know better in the future. The contract stated a time frame of weeks and problems with the final product were still not addressed months later. Desired SettlementI want a partial refund of $900-$1000 dollars, due to the fact they asked me to pay full amount up front.
