I made an appointment to do 2 airbags and the neutral safety switch at Reno Dodge. I found out about the recall because I had replaced the clutch with my mechanic and when going to replace that switch, looked up the switch on youtube where I found it defective. Everything was working perfectly. Lights, signals, bell chime for the door being open etc. I decided to just get it towed down there because I have free towing. They received my 2006 Dodge Dakota on the 27th of June. They said they were busy and I told them it was no problem . I wasn't in a hurry. I called on the 8th of July to check in and they told me they needed my defective switch and I had already thrown it away so no go. They said they would have to order the part and it was expected in on the 11th or 12th of July. They would call me as soon as the work was completed. I left my personal cell number as well as my home number with them the day I dropped it off. I never, never received a call as of the 28th of July. I called on the 28th and finally received a call from the service manager. I told him I was concerned with the amount of time it was taking. He called in the service guy named Kit who proceeded to lie through his teeth that the truck was done for weeks and was waiting for me to call him because he said that the truck still wouldn't start even after replacing the safety switch. I told them I would have the truck picked up to be looked at by my trusted mechanic. I get the truck back and NOTHING WORKS. No lights, no blinkers, no bells chiming, and certainly won't start. No dash lights that were fine before they touched it. I have a single red dot light that is on even with the key out. My mechanic just took one look and told me to get an attorney. He says the steering column isn't attached the way it was before and thinks they damaged something electrical in the column when they replaced the drivers side airbag. I have a call in to the service manager and the customer service manager but have not received a call back. If they fix the issue they created, I will update this post.

Tried to finance a vehicle. Finance person told me I wasnt qualified. I received numerous letters from finacial institutes stating my loan was decline. When I contacted them.. They said I was approved, but since I wasnt told by the dealership it was approved, the finacial companies recorded it as a declined loan application.. Which dropped my credit score 52 points.. When I contacted Reno Dodge regarding it, the person I spoke with basically said oh well lifes a [redacted] and thats your problem..
Im going to post this on every review site that I can find.. Not to mention contact a few news agencies, especially the one my cousin works for","neg-1
