I have my hand written notes from the call. After hanging up with the telemarketer, I called the company a spoke with Rod. Rod admitted that they use a telemarketing company and they should have scrubbed the list.
I never gave Rod my name or the number called. Since I didn't provide the number they called in this complaint, saying that they or the third party company they contracted with have no record of calling me is meaningless.
The answer is nothing more than a lame excuse and doesn't dismiss their actions, or that of a third party they contracted. In the case of TCPA violations the company that did the calling, and the company they called for are both in violation of the law.
