Review: We are at the end of a long renovation project and GC has refused to bring the plumber to the job site to finish job before inspections which are scheduled for this Thursday.Desired Settlement: Must bring the plumber to job site to finish work to satisfaction of the owner.

Customer file complaint saying I was not getting the plumber to finish the plumbing. The reason the plumber was not going he told costumer when you have the granite install I will come and do everything in one day. But he insisted to install a few of the other things anyway. The same day the complaint was file the plumber did show up anyway. Since then on 10/28/13 all co was pass. As of11/02/13 only thing remaining to do is for the electrcian to run some wire for the backup generator for the transfer switch. So please remove this complaint from my file.

I am rejecting this response because:

The the plumber did show up I time but only after the complaint was filed and since then there have been multiple issues that have arose from this general contracter.

1 the water softener that his plumer installed did not have the water drain outlet properly run to a a drain and flooded the basement with 2 inches of water during a recharge cycle. We also noticed that when this did happen the French drains that we had the GC install that the basement floors he tiled where not properly pitched towards the drains so when we get water in the basement it puddles in the center of the basement floor.

2. The generator that his electrician has installed was not properly wired from the start. And since it has been inactive the battery in it has since died in the unit. He mentions that all that has to be done is run one wire from the generated to the transfer switch when in actuality 6 wires have to be run and now since it was not done when the walls where open it has to be run along the outside of the house not what we originally agreed on or wanted. And to make matters worse we have been waiting over 2 months for his to fix this problem and we have been put off day after day by his electricianand him. Now we are being putted off weeks. If this problem is not fixed by the end of this week I will have to hire someone to do this and go after the GC for what I pay to have it run properly.

3. The home heater/water heater was also not properly installed with a drain and had also caused a small amount of water to leak from the unit on to the floor. Since we alerted him of the issue the plumber came and repaired it with a tempory fix (a garden hose) and said he would come back with a more permenant solution but has never returned.

4 The washing machine we had his plumber install never had the shipping bolts removed on the unit. So the first time we went to use the machine it shaked so violently that it damaged the wall and dented the dryer next to it. Also possibly damaging the unit.

5. The gas dryer his plumber installed also was not properly vented and had a hole on the Side of the vent and let out the fumes from the dryer the first time we used it. It is a good thing the smoke alarms went off to alert us to this issue that I had since fixed with more duct tape. But this should have never happened in the first place.
