The septic inspection performed at *** *** *** *** *** *** FAILED for two reasons: #
7pt"> The distribution box was decrepit and immediately put the system in FAILUREThe distribution box needed to be replaced#2 The potable well could not be locatedIt is required that potable wells be more than feet from any part of a septic systemSince the well was never located, the system FAILED for a second reasonWhen a septic system fails, we do not pump the system tank until the repairs are madeWe do this as a fail safe to insure that we are able to return to inspect any repairs that might have been performedAt no time were we notified to return to pump the septic tank, inspect the repairs, identify the location of the potable well, and finish the inspectionThe complaint identified within would have been easily recognized during the pumping and inspection of the septic tank
And lastly, on our INSPECTORS REPORT we clearly state that Rensselaer Septic Tanks (RST) does not warrant or provide any guarantees that a malfunction has not occurred nor will not occur in the futureOur only representation is to the condition of the septic system at the time of the inspectionIn this case on that day it FAILEDSeptic systems can fail at any time for a number of reasons and RST accepts no responsibility for any malfunction of the system based upon our report Sincerely,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that the response would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.[Provide details of why you are not satisfied with this resolution.]I paid another contractor to dig up this septic tank so it could be pumped and inspected as required by your company.  I was charged $450.00 for pumping the septic tank and an inspection. I was never told the inspection wasn't completed. The owner of the home had another contractor (now I know why he used a different company to do the work) replace the distribution box that was listed as failing the inspection. I was billed the entire amount from your company for an inspection that was never completed. Now, per the response given here the tank wasn't even pumped!  What was the $450.00 bill for and why wasnt I ever told or noted on my bill that what I paid for was never completed?  How would I know the bill was for work that was not done? It sure wasn't on the invoice for payment. I didn't get a call.  The septic lines were cracked and packed solid with weeds about 20 foot in length, and should have been easily identified in the inspection I was billed for. What did you do for the $450.00? You state it wasn't pumped and the inspection wasn't complketed.  Why the bill for the entire amount? The septic failed on day one, my first day in the house. Thanks. What a rip off.
Regards,
