I reserved a rental of a motorcycle from Rent a ride in Lachine quebec for Saturday August 8, 2020. The website states the bike will be ready for pick-up as of 7 am in the morning. My plan was to pick up the bike at 8:30 am and be on my way, at 8 am I got notified my rental contract was terminated and I was going to be charged to full price of the rental without exceptions!!!! The rental agreemen which I agreeed upon has no such indication of specicfic pick up time just that the bike will be ready at 7 am for pick up. I am very upset by this and feel I was taken advantage of by this so called business.
Hello glad to see the Mister *** went to an official organism to end this story and finish the harassment that we are getting from his part.
Short description of our company . This is the third year of activity and more than 200 bookings for Canadians or foreigners and no complain until now.
Our biggest advantage in front of our competitor is that being a small businesses we are very versatile and opens to satisfy any client requirements and accommodate their schedule(working even on Sundays and Saturday's for this)-this could be seen in our *** page reviews
Mister *** called us asking for information like when the rental day start, any discount, pickup and drop location etc.which gladly provided plus of this he wanted to come in advance to try a bike to see if is is ok for him -fact with which we were agree and we offered to to him this possibility.
However he placed the order online , he paid the half of the amount of rental day 126 so 63 dollars -the payment due of other 63 being supposed to be paid when he was picking the bike.
So Saturday at 7 am our representative was on site with motorcycle prepared but Mister *** didn't show. We try to contact him by phone-voice and text messages to see if any delays occurred but no answer from him.
Pls see attached print scree from the phone showing the bike prepared and the our that Our representative tried first time to reach the client. So we wait more than one hour there without any answer. in this situation me personal I tried to reach mister *** but no chance so I 8 am I informed him him the his order is considered canceled and no reimbursement will be possible as per our rental agreement -pls find a print screen with an extras from it also.
After some time Mister replied to me asking to come pickup the bike which was not possible. We tried to explain to him that this is not possible that we have costs staying one hour there for nothing, also we lost other client that could use that motorcycle on that day because now is full season. and is a high demand but no chance. I mention that Mister didn't advise us of any particularly hour that he desire to pick the bike and he knew that the pick time is 7 am.as is listed on our site. for nay details don't hesitate to contact us.
