Me and mybhusband have being customers for over a year and in this past weeks my experience with this company had being really bad they got a lady working there her name is lotoya somenthing like that she is really rude and her actitud omg is the worst she call me screamming at me saying that if I am a iresponsable person because I didnt make my pay early that day as I was suposed to because I was at work and once I get of I was goong to go stray to the office to pay but no this person choose to call me screaming like a crazy and also the worst part she hang up the phone at me when I ask to speak to rudy the manager of the store This is the worst person I have seen working anywhere I will not recomend this place to anyone else because of this lady

Hello, Thank you for calling me about this complaint We are a rent to own company We deal with different vendorsWhich means we really are based on the availability of their inventory If [redacted] was missing a ribbet for his wheels, that is a special part that we have to order from our vendor and if they tell us that is on back order unfortunately theres nothing we can do All though we do let our customers know about it Customer return the merchendise to us back on May 27, On response what he said about being one day late on his payment Our company has no grace period, thefore every payment is due in the due date or beforeWich customer is notify of it at the time they are signing their conract And they are also aware that they can return at any time with no obligations as long as the merchendise is not damageIf you will need more information please email me and I will do my best to help you Thank you [redacted]

I purchased a set of tires from rent a tire and first they tried to force me to take a set of tires that didn't match and when I complained for about two weeks they finally gave me the correct tires and they said they put the old tire in the back of my pick up truck but I didn't see it they then tried to make me pay for their mistake of losing the tire before they would give me the correct tire I complained to the corporate office and they told me to not worry about the flat tire and instructed them to put the correct tire on my truck the manager or co-manager at the store told me on March 1st my last payment would be dollars but they debited my account for dollars, I believe they are trying to make me pay for a tire that they lost

I have reached out to corporate and region manager no response, Diamond an rep with this location has repeatedly harassed me even took money from my account with out authorizationIt has been weeks since she threatened me I asked should I call the police i'm unaware of her but she has all my information she calls more than once also even when a payment is not dueBut her inviting a customer to the store was a total violation of privacy and its a huge concern that none of this has been taken care of

My experience with the [redacted] location, on numerous occasions, has left no impression on me to return with my business, but rather set a determinded decision to handle any issue I might have on my own. In addition, I have opposed to the decision to even allow the store to even remain my absolute last resort. These decisions are a result of not only the product in which I still find unsatisfactoy, but the lack of customer service throughout the Company My experiences and lack of consideration from this company, overall, has left me with no other choice but to advice potenial consumers of what to expect before making the decision to deal with this buiness and the product advertised.

My initial purchase at this location upon a Walk-in visit was the start of what would soon become a frustrating mess that took less than half an hour to fix elsewhere at the end of it all. I have waited over 2 hours to service my vehicle, only to be told to come back first thing in the morning and I would be first to receive service. Only to wait several hours longer when arriving to soon understand I was two other customers down the list that is first come-first serve basis. I have replaced several valve caps on my tires due to noticing they were each misplaced any time I had service done. On one occassion, I called frustrated upon noticing this happened again after taking my car in for tire repa. I asked to speak with the manager in which I was transfered to [redacted]. In attempt to make him aware of the misplaced caps on numerous occasions, I was served with a sarcastic remark stating he would give me "$5 to replace them at a store." Unbelievable. On another occasion, I decided to purchase another set of wheels and tires for my brand new car and thought I'd give it another shot. To my suprise, I waited over an hour only to eventually be told (only because I thought to check my status on my wait-time) the tires would have to be ordered due to not having the ones of my preference in stock. Returning for the service I had already made payment on prior, the gentleman informed me the wrong item was ordered however they could give me another, only difference was brand. Frustrated with the lack of communication and organiztion, I was ready to just be done with the waiting and wanted my wheels on that day. I agreed to their offer. Not even a month later, I had an issue with the tires that had formed a loud humming, in addition to beginning to shake going over 55mph. Days later, having to wait again for store to receive order, I was able to get one tire replace that they ensured me was the issue. A month later, I had a blow out on the other tire. To my surprise, the tires put onto the wheels where too small which was part of the issue that continued to escalate. I would soon experience another blowout and a cracked TPMS sensor on my brand new car. I was handed the sensor and informed that they were not liabale for it as per store policy. Not even an apology. Needless to say, I'm five visits down to 3 different stores...and still I am left with the same issue I went in-store to repair.

The list of situations I have experienced could go on, but my point in this letter is to not get carried away with every bad experience I have encountered. However, inform you with this feedback to possibly use as a tool for your staff to ensure other customers don't experience the same. Rent-A-Tire has truthfully and enirely, exhausted my patience in understanding as well as attempting to go to them with another chance to find a solution to my tire issue. I don't expect much of anything from this Company...Besides five calls the day after the weekly payment is due with a rude request for payment, maybe a threat to confiscate merchandise, from a gentleman on the other end of the phone.

I have seen, heard, witnessed, and experiened both sides of the business-consumer spectrum. However, my goal has remained the same within both, and that is receive what I pay for and ensure my customers get with they pay for. The outcome remains/should remain the same, satisfaction for both the business and consumer. I dont want, nor do I expect anything more and/or anything less than what I pay for. I hope that this letter not only brings awareness to potential consumers who think to give Rent-A-Tire a chance of their business (as I did, at first), but also in hope that for once I can come in contact with someone who can help ensure my satisfaction with dependable product and assure me that threw all the issues and hassles I have faced with my purchase, it was somehow worth just a little of it all.

The manager at this location seems to not care about how she repersents the company. Due to my work schedule it conflicts with the store hours, I have been a customer with them September 10, 2012 on which I pay a weekly rate at $110.90 including insurance for tires. This store was not a problem until after my 1st payment when I was informed of the change of management my mother calls in and makes payments for me which was added in store by policy, the manger [redacted] 1st ran the payment incorrect on the wrong account causing overdraft fees because she was not taking time to find the proper paperwork. My mom continued to complain of how [redacted] would be rude or rash with her while making a payment thinking because my mom is older she was just taking it the wrong way. I then had a issue with my tire and had to go in the store myself she was at the counter and in the middleshe decided to go off and take lunch making one of the other associates help me. When she returned she went in her office and never asked was the task she started was compelted. Here on 12/19/2012 called in a payment she never even took the payment told me she would call me back, seeing that im a customer that pays on time and early I recived a collections cal from there office. I told her that payment was supposed to been did over 2 days ago she then took the payment and apologized about that I was very upset because what if I were to had spent that money it is the holidays. Same day there was another issue witht the tire that caused it to go flat, I was at work when my husband called and told me I then called the store and asked if we could get it took care of I did need to get home from work [redacted] told me to hold while she asked after over 15 mins of holding I was told no because I needed to sign paper work my husband was in the store already and was told by the garage help they would take care of it, causing my husband to leave rim there I called back [redacted] then told me it would be tommorw before anything could be did for the tire asked her why because it was only 4:12 pm said they had to pick tire up from another store asked her which one so I could just go there insted being IN DANGER by riding on a spare. I was advised that the tire was at the Jacksbro Hwy location I then asked if she could make them aware that I would be there I could get there and sign papers all before closing. When I arrived at the location Rob the manager had no idea what I was doing there and when he went to do the tire he had to tell me that they didn't have it and was sorry I was told the incorrect info. After making him aware of the situation I asked to speakto someone higher He gave me the info To Bill the district manager I have left him a message, to let him know about the situation I have not spoke with him yet. So from the Jacksbro location I was told to go to arlington at 9 am. [redacted] had told me I would have to wait until 11 am to even get the tire from what I understand I was told this because she was trying to get off early I guess because of the holidays. I arrived at the Arlington location only to be told they didnt have it ethier and only to find out that the tire was at the Lancaster location where it had been the whole time and I had not been notified. The reason being rosylin was late and wouldnt be inuntil 11:30 I then went over and the tire was there and was put on and handled great by the asst. mngr Keith. I left around 12:15 she still hadnt arrived I feel if you dont do your job you don't deserve it and I pay my money tothis company I feelI should be treated as so. I fshe doesnt care to greet customers and or run payments or even be there why should I care about payments that wouldnt work right I am very upset and feel she needs to be addressed Im not paying to be treated like sm. I work just as she does so every moment of running around toeach store cost me my time and gas when the tire was there at that location to began with. I dont appreciate being ignored by a manager nor her not doing her job because she doesnt feel like it.

I open an account with rent a tire due to a need of really needing tires, I was told I could pay weekly or bi-weekly based on my pay periods, and I was told to leave a copy of my card so that they could charge my card on the bi-weekly due dates. After only making two payments with this company my card was charged incorrectly twice for the wrong amount and for someone else’s account, I called in spoke with the manager at the store and had to get the funds refunded back into my account. Then I requested to call in to make all further payments and that my debit card info be removed from their records, it was granted. A few days later After this request and me being promised my card info was removed my card was then charged again, so I then spoke with the manager of the store [redacted] who stated he would speak with the store and gave me a week of a credit to bring everything up to date. I went over my 90days but continued to pay on my account but was only paying interest so I offered to re-new my contract and remove all interest so I agreed since it lowered my payments. Shortly after I received a letter in the mail saying I owed 3200.00 dollars after I had just made a payment, I paid the new balance I was told to pay 65.00 weekly, I made a 190.00 payment on 11/24/2011 which covered me for two weeks, but that same week I received phone calls almost every 2-3 hours, they would leave voicemails stating to contact them or just hang up on my voice mail. They would continue to call my references during business hours which a request was sent to stop all contact to my references and my references also requested to no longer be contacted and they continued to contact them up to 4times a day. I was mailed 3 letters stating a different amount each time and that I would be prosecuted for theft, I also received text messages from the company saying that the needed a payment and to contact them. The last straw is when they left a voice mail on me and references voice mail stating: “hey this is [redacted] from rent a tire u need to contact us due to past due payments on your account we have sent text messages left voice mails and have continue to call please give us a call” this company has been harassing me when I have been making payments, and they are not recording my payments and continue to call me, my references, send me text messages and mail me threaten letters.

On Saturday morning on the 18th. of 2012 I went to return a set of wheels and a GPS navi. system. They got all of there property but when I got the stock set of wheels and tires back the stock hub caps were not given back. I talked to the manager and he said that they don't keep those even though it is part of my property that I want back as well. They make sure they got everything back before I left but for me they threw something away that was part of my property. To me that is illegal for a company to not return all of property to the customer that they came in with. I want justice on this complaint because its not fair for this. That is poor customer service to not to return all of there belongings to them when they came in with. Thank you!

I was told when I bought the tires that I could buy the tires for $1,350.96 or else I would be renting the tires for $62.77/Mo. I paid $1,386.30, but not by the 7/7/11 due date. Now they want the tires back and wants to keep the entire $1,350.96 for 6 months rent.
