Good afternoon, The complaint received from your office lacks sufficient information to act on the situation specifically However, I can say that it is our position that the process of contacting account holders requires a balance of numerous activities as well as restraints Because of these restraints, Rent A Wheel / Rent A Tire must follow the various state Rent-to-Own laws regarding business practicesThese guidelines (Laws) were written to help protect the customer by regulating the following activities: Obtaining Information Communicating Debt Collection Contacting Customers Harassment and Abuse or Misleading Conduct All Rent A Wheel / Rent A Tire co-workers must follow these guidelines when handling any customer account A summary of account management practices as outlined by various state laws is included with all new employee training and followed up on by in-store management

Hello Mr [redacted] came in on 09/06/to install inch wheels into vehicleCust brought vehicle back after installation after compained about shakingI rebalance wheels and test drove vehicle and returned to customerAbout three weeks laters customer came back and wheels were bentI replaced all four wheels with brand new wheels around the first week of octoberFrom October to Feburary the customer was riding without problemsHe took vehicle to Alignment shop and they told him his rims were warpedUpon inspection of wheels they were not warped but bent due to impact of the roadWheels on Passanger side of vechicle were replaced and customer agreed on pmt of damaged wheels on 03/08/ [redacted] Store Manager Rent a Wheel NSlappey Blvd Albany, Ga C ###-###-#### O ###-###-#### F ###-###-####

To Whom It May Concern, Regarding the complaint filed by [redacted] *** [redacted] set up an account on 01/All of his payments have been processed accordingly to the agreement he signed except oneThe reason why that one payment was ran early on Thursday instead of Friday(Also Mike Gets paid on Thursdays so it would have been his same check he paid with on Friday or Thursday) is because we were generous enough to give him a free refferal towards his accountThe refferal counts toward his payment so it moved him due in the middle of the weekWe did apologize to Mike for the mishap and took responsibility for the mistakeSince then he's called in upset about his payment being ran for less than the correct amountAfter researching that complaint it was found that Mr [redacted] had insufficent funds available in his accountNot something that we can controlThere have been times that Mr [redacted] broke the agreement by paying latePer our agreement there is not a grace periodAnd he came in upset about us calling himSomething that would be the customers responsibility If you have any more questions please don't hesitate Thank you [redacted]

Mr. [redacted] came in on 09/06/13 to install 20 inch wheels into vehicle. Cust brought vehicle back after installation after compained about shaking. I rebalance wheels and test drove vehicle and returned to customer. About three weeks laters customer came back and 2 wheels were bent. I replaced all four wheels with brand new wheels around the first week of october. From October to Feburary the customer was riding without problems. He took vehicle to Alignment shop and they told him his rims were warped. Upon inspection of wheels they were not warped but bent due to impact of the road. Wheels on  Passanger side of vechicle were replaced and customer agreed on pmt of damaged wheels on 03/08/14.

 I do not accept  retailers response, the initial four rims was faulty at time of installation, retailer tried several times to adjust the rims with no success, retailer then swap those four rims out for another four rims, from the initial time of the  installation of the new rims the rims were unbalanced and gave a bumpy ride, they tried to adjust several times, I finally took it to an alignment specialist  who confirmed that the wheels where factory warp and could have been done by me, there were no dents vents or scratches on the wheels from me. The alignment specialist claims the retailer should check to confirm that the rims they are selling are up to par, he states they are remanufactured warped rims.
My complaint  is I should not have to pay for the two faulty rims that they had to replace, accusing me of bending rims when they New something was wrong all the time and had been trying to fix it to no avail is unethica,retailer had lbeen trying to adjust and balance from the initial installation.

Gets paid on Thursdays so it would have been his same check he paid with on Friday or Thursday) is because we were generous enough to give him a free 50.00 refferal towards his account. The 50.00 refferal counts toward his payment so it moved him due in the middle of the week. We did apologize to Mike for the mishap and took responsibility for the mistake. Since then he's called in upset about his payment being ran for less than the correct amount. After researching that complaint it was found that Mr. [redacted] had insufficent funds available in his account. Not something that we can control. There have been times that Mr. [redacted] broke the agreement by paying late. Per our agreement there is not a grace period. And he came in upset about us calling him. Rent a wheel sold me defective wheel that slip in half as I was driven in them and the store will not stand by there product and replace my rimes are still like new and was defective when installed on my car - please help me hold them responsible - rent a wheel DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE A RIP-OFF SCAM

Review: The store manager [redacted] was contacted on March 30, 2015 and an order was placed. Upon further thought I called and spoke to [redacted] to adjust my order to add on an additional item. In the interim I was told that I would have my order fulfilled. No one from the company ever called to give me a status update even after I called several weeks in a row and even several times in a week. Finally I sent a email (05-2015) to the Regional Sales Manager [redacted] only to have him forward my email to someone by the name of [redacted]. Upon speaking to [redacted] he was excited about assisting me with this obviously long standing issue however that was short lived. [redacted] promised that [redacted] the Store Manager would be calling to rectify the issue. Eventually [redacted] did call and after normal business hours. He stated that his first call of duty would be to get me a deal for the tires and he would have several quotes for me the very next day and the price would be well under normal market value. I never heard from [redacted]. I also emailed [redacted] advising him of the issue. Ultimately I believe that I am being treated unfairly because I am a women. In addition my assumption I believe that they are refusing to help because one of the employees was suspended from work for making racial comments to my daughter and I during my initial purchase in 2014Desired Settlement: I want my tires replaced at a discounted rate

I purchased a rims and tire package from this establishment,the first set was faulty and bent, then they ordered me a second set of of rims, when I drive on the highway the rims would wobble, I told the sales manager who's name is [redacted], he said they needed to be be high speed balance, so I took it my car to a shop to get them balanced, the mechanic at the shop said that two of the rims were warped and that they could not be balanced and that I should take them back to the rent a wheel establishment I bought them from,they said they would order me two new rims and call me when they come in, now that the rims are in they want to charge me for the two replacement rims claiming that they were new and should not have been warped,I have been making my finance payments on time every week, now they are demanding I pay for the two replacement rims when they were initally warped when they put them on, I had been complaining about my car shaking from the initial time that they put the rims on and they said it just needed balancing until I discovered that the rims were warped, I would like all money money back that I have been paying for these faulty rims or I would like for Rent A Wheels to replace the two wheels at no cost to me as originally promised,
