Rent-A-Wreck of Richmond

Review: I rented a [redacted] from Rent a Wreck on the evening of friday 11/15/2013 and returned the car to the same location on monday 11/18/2013. I only drove the car locally so infrequent that it only took me $15 to refill the tank to its original gas. When I returned the vehicle the [redacted] of the franchise did a inspection of the car and noticed what appeared to be a plug on the front side driver tire. I advised the [redacted] that I did not plug the tire and that I barely drove the vehicle. I asked the [redacted] before leaving if everything was ok on my end becuase I most certainly did not have the tire plugged and if I would have I would have most certainly bought the bill to him. The [redacted] said everthing was fine and I left the rental place with not issue. When we originally inspected the car before I rented it, it was dark and we didnt even inspect the tires, had we done so I would never have rented the car. Fast forward to Tuesday 11/19/2013 I received a call from the [redacted] telling me and I qoute "I wanted to give you the benefit of doubt, I checked with my detailer and he said he would never have let the car leave if it had been plugged. I gave you the benefit of doubt and you lied to me, either you can come take care of this or we will take futher action." I have never been called a liar and verbally insulted like that in my life. To have someone threaten me over a false accusation is ridiculous. I will pull my cell phone records if possible to show my every location traveled in this vehicle to show I never went anywhere to have a tire plugged. I can also show my debit card records which will not show any record of such transaction. This is an injustice and unfair treatment and practice that I this should be investigated. I repeatedly told the [redacted] that I did not plug the tire and this is something that I would not lie about. This is very insulting and I will never rent from this place again and I dont think anyone should to be subjected to false accusations.Desired Settlement: I would like this matter reviewed for false accusations. I was threatened with"further action" for an accusation for which I am innocent of. If my insurance of debit card are charged I will relentlessly dispute this accusation. This isnt about money it is the principal of fare business and honest practice. If I am to be falsely accusI feel that I should be completely reimbursed for my rental car charge period. I believe that I deserse an apology for being called a liar and for being threatened.
