If they had told me from the beginning or not said $200 refundable deposit, this would not be an issue but I was told and I still have the email, that it was a $200 refundable deposit. Regards,

ahead of your arrival, we will return all but a $50 cancellation fee. If you cancel one to three months ahead of your arrival you will forfeit your deposit. We will return any other money you have paid to Rent On Padre. If you cancel 15 to 30 days ahead you will forfeit 50% of the “rental costs”. All the cleaning fee and taxes are returned.
If you cancel within 14 days of arrival, you will forfeit all the "rental cost". All the cleaning fee and taxes are returned.

One more thing to add, this reservation was booked directly through VRBO, I have attached the screen shot of the screen and circled in red is where you click to view the cancellation policy as well as the cancellation policy that pops up when you click on it. This makes 3 opportunities to review the cancellation policy. Thank you.
